I remember reading about massive short positioning in treasuries on the "higher for longer" narrative a couple weeks ago, then the banking crisis hits and they all unwind which sends 2Y and other yields diving.

 

Then last week some people start pointing out the big short positions building in oil and we get an OPEC cut to unwind that trade now.

 

This is why bear markets are chaotic.

McDonald’s Shuts US Offices, Prepares For Layoffs

 

McDonald’s is temporarily shutting its US offices this week as it prepares for corporate layoffs.

 

“During the week of April 3, we will communicate key decisions related to roles and staffing levels across the organization,” McDonald’s said in an internal email viewed by The Wall Street Journal.

 

McDonald’s corporate employees were asked to work from home Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as it makes announcements related to staffing and company restructuring.

 

It is unclear how many corporate employees will be laid off.

 

The Wall Street Journal reported:

 

McDonald’s Corp. MCD 0.66%increase; green up pointing triangle is temporarily closing its U.S. offices this week as it prepares to inform corporate employees about layoffs undertaken by the burger giant as part of a broader company restructuring.

The Chief of the Investigation Division at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office has a history of donating to Democrat political candidates.

 

Campaign donation records provided by Campaign Money reveal Chief Investigator of the Manhattan DA Office Susan Hoffinger donated to Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign and would donate to the the Democrat PAC ActBlue numerous times.

 

In the 2020 election cycle Hoffinger donated $250 to Biden and donated a little over $1,000 to ActBlue.

 

Hoffinger’s donations to Biden and a democratic PAC could be a conflict of interest considering Trump is the leading opposition to the Democratic Party.

 

Trump’s indictment isn’t the first time Hoffinger will be overseeing a case that investigates Trump.

 

As The Gateway Pundit reported back in February of 2022, Hoffinger was appointed by DA Alvin Bragg to over see the probe of the Trump Organizations after prosecutors, Carey Dunne and Mark Pomerantz resigned from their positions at the Manhattan DA’s Office.

The imminent arraignment of President Donald J. Trump hasn’t stopped White Hat efforts to cleanse the nation of Deep State traitors and saboteurs, a source in General Eric M. Smith’s office told Real Raw News. On Saturday, United States Marines under Gen. Smith’s command arrested January 6 Committee architect Liz Cheney at her posh home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a ritzy tourist town famous for its mountainous landscape and majestic views of the nearby Grand Tetons.

 

The belated arrest comes nearly two years after a military court, in May 2021, indicted Cheney on charges of treason and interfering in the 2020 presidential election. In late 2022, the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps revised the indictment to include the charge of seditious conspiracy, a response to her role on the January 6 Committee, which sought to falsely charge President Trump with conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to make a false statement and attempts to “incite,” “assist,” or “aid or comfort” an insurrection. Our source said that Cheney would face a military tribunal to answer for her crimes against America and its people.

 

He said several factors contributed to the prolonged delay between indictment and arrest: When it became clear the January 6 Committee’s implausible allegations against President Trump held no weight, JAG put her on a watchlist while opting to pursue other Deep State despots. Also, like many Deep Staters, Cheney seldom lived or traveled alone, and she, the daughter of a dictatorial former vice president, still had Secret Service protection.

To maintain the element of surprise, they avoided public transportation and were flown from Camp Pendleton to Jackson, a 1,800-mile, 7-hour round trip, on a V-22 Osprey, the Corps’ accident-prone VTOL aircraft. Since neither the V-22 nor the CH-53 Sea Stallion helicopter—also considered to fill the mission role—had a ferry range of 1,800 miles, Gen. Smith tasked a KC-135 Stratotanker, a massive military refueling plane, with orbiting the AO and refueling the V-22 after the Marines had grabbed Cheney.

 

The V-22 touched down in a clearing slip-covered in snow two kilometers southeast of Cheney’s home at approximately 1:00 a.m. The Marines deplaned wearing cold-weather gear and armed with lethal and non-lethal weapons, then hiked across the frozen ground until they reached the wooden fence and wrought iron gate that opened onto Cheney’s expansive property. They disabled several surveillance cameras before stealthily approaching the house. Light shone through upstairs and downstairs windows, but the Marines saw no movement. After circumventing a home security system and a “Ring” doorbell, they prepared to breach the door—and surprisingly found it unlocked.

 

No sooner had the lead element stepped into the foyer than a Secret Service agent, bewildered and shocked, fumbled for the sidearm on his hip. He took three rounds to the head from suppresser-equipped rifles and fell down dead. His death moan alerted the second agent, who shouted up a staircase, “Get up! Get up! ‘Age Is A Number’: Gender Clinic Offered Puberty Blockers To Kids As Young As 8, Surgery Referrals At 14, Records Show

 

The Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP) Gender and Sexuality Development Program offers medical interventions to children as young as eight as part of the medical transition process, according to documents reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Clinic employees have publicly advocated for certain cross-sex surgeries for minors, along with hormones and puberty blockers, and have downplayed the seriousness of the infertility which is a known consequence of some of these interventions.

“I think it’s really important to remember that age is a number,” clinic co-founder Dr. Linda Hawkins said. “But as an adolescent medicine and developmental specialist, we know that where a child is cognitively and socially is more important than that exact number of their age.”

 

The Gender and Sexuality Development Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) offers drastic medical interventions as part of the gender transition process to children as young as eight, according to statements and documents reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

CHOP’s youth gender clinic, one of the first in the U.S., is a major trans medical provider in Pennsylvania and has strong ties to Rachel Levine, a former trans activist who currently serves as the U.S. assistant secretary for health. The clinic recently came under fire for holding seminars where teachers were instructed to hide students’ trans identities from their parents. Clinic employees also promoted cross-sex procedures for children while downplaying the risks, documents and statements reveal.

 

The clinic has referred children as young as 14 for “top surgery,” a euphemism for mastectomies or breast construction, though most referrals are for patients aged 16-18, Dowshen told lawmakers at a Pennsylvania House of Representatives Health Committee hearing in 2020.

 

The clinic’s co-founders, Dr. Linda Hawkins and Dr. Nadia Dowshen, advocated for “top surgery” for minors in a 2021 paper published in Pediatrics, the medical journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

 

“We observed consensus that chest dysphoria is a major source of distress and can be functionally disabling to transmasculine youth. MCS performed during adolescence, including before age 18, can alleviate suffering and improve functioning,” they wrote in their paper.

 

The clinic worked to secure surgical referrals for minors and even employed a social worker who served as a “surgery advocate,” collecting letters of support on behalf of gender dysphoric minors in order to persuade insurance companies to cover their surgeries, according to a 2021 report from CHOP. A staffer had previously pushed for such a position to be funded with the help of then-acting secretary of health for the state, Rachel Levine, and argued that the position would yield a high return on investment.

 

“I think it’s really important to remember that age is a number,” she said at the hearing. “But as an adolescent medicine and developmental specialist, we know that where a child is cognitively and socially is more important than that exact number of their age.”

 

CHOP professionals laid out the gender clinic’s guidelines for sex change procedures in a webinar on the clinic’s standards of care, which the hospital created in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the DCNF obtained through a public records request.

 

The clinic advised “affirmation” of a child’s gender identity and social transition to the opposite sex for kids under the age of eight, who are too young for medical interventions under the clinic’s guidelines.

 

For medical interventions, patients must experience long-lasting gender nonconformity, which emerged or worsened at the onset of puberty, and have any coexisting medical, social and psychological issues addressed prior to the onset of medical treatment, according to the webinar.

It definitely looks deliberately severed, as it goes all the way through the whole rail. If it was a joint it would be centered on the tie. So yeah in this case its probably sabatoge. I was only responding to how often the rails were inspected based on my observation living near amtrak/commuter line for a few years. We had barely any freight trains which are much heavier. Freight trains would rattle the house 300' away.
