TYBs!

Anon need prayers. And perhaps legal advice.

Wife's friend died. Had a cat. Wife told widowed husband we'd happily take the cat. Visited and cared for her over the weekend while he was away. He just killed her, using the vet.

Said "she had kidney failure."

Cat was using the litter box just fine over the weekend. I.e., she was peeing, and to pee requires working kidneys.

We would have taken her in for years.

Devastated today.

And also, want to know if there's justice available for this poor creature.

Anon won't use any form of personal force, or vengeance, or etc.

Was his action criminal? Is it worth talking to a cop? We don't have "evidence" but we are two witnesses who saw the cat and the litter box, and we both have known the cat for years and, well, we know he murdered her. Like how there exists the "suicide by cop" concept, this is a "murder by vet" idea: he convinced the vet to put her out of his misery. ;(

Anon is asking here, first. As anon's seen the "never talk to a cop" videos etc.

Would attorney be better? Seems it. Here first, then attorney, then maybe cop.

Anyway.

Thank you.

God bless in Jesus name.

>That's a shame that he wouldn't give you the cat.

>But at this point, what is done is done.

>It was his choice to make.

>Vets will put animals down for any reason as long as you pay them.

Thank you, agree.

Am really beating anon's self up right now because anon COULD HAVE done a better job communicating. Anon FAILED. Wife was in the loop and wife thinks anon is blaming wife; nothing could be further from the truth!

ANON FAILED.

Wife was in the middle; if anon's written message failed anon wouldn't blame the pen!

Anyway.

Agree it was his choice. God gives us dominion. Also though, man makes cruelty-to-animal laws. Will look into the local version(s); thanks.

Struggling. You helped. Thank you again.

>1- tell him he is a murderer

>2- take that love and adopt a kitty or dog or two and carry it all on in her name

Great advice. Will do.

>>using the vet.

>>Said "she had kidney failure."

>Sounds like the vet made the call. I brought a pet to the vet that was in it's last hours. Vet was not convinced until a $600 X-ray was performed. Vet agreed that putting the pet down was the best course of action.

(No kidney issues before today, and, he murdered her the same day the first kidney issues "appeared".)

Thank you. There's always a lot of unknowns. One known, though, was that he discussed murdering her pet as his wife was sitting there in front of him dying and drifting in and out of consciousness, from the morphine that he was giving her.

Maybe anon is being too harsh.

Seems to anon though that he participated in multiple recent murders.

He knew he wanted the cat dead.

We knew that as well, which was why we tried to stop it.

ARGH.

Anon failed. And can't do it over, at least, during this lifetime.

Knowing there are more? Helps, somewhat.

Still, gotta finish this one before the bliss of Heaven, and then the "need" to start another (at this point anon's done with forgetting, but yeah, guess it's what Jesus wants/wrote, so anon will do it again; or, maybe there is an end to forgetting at some point, and anon's on the final journey before it? One can always hope…).

God bless in Jesus name.
