I don't think there's a magic formula. And even if Pence sent it back there's no guarantee the legislators would have done anything about it.
Similarly, Bill Barr could have investigated it, former Bush guy, in my opinion he was chosen for that reason, knowing he wouldnt investigate, vs being part of the show and told not to… but its a fine line.
A tell I use is that that guy from PA who wanted Trump's endorsement in midterms. Trump said but you didn't do anything about the stolen election. Guy says Barr told him to stand down,Trump told him put it in writingHe did.
IMO Trump was working hard and genuinly to make a case Barr intentionally ordered a stand down so to speak on election meddling, vs just acting in the movie.
