Are the days of hardcore fandom over? Back in the day we had Star Wars fans, Star Trek fans. I don't see anything like that happening again.

I'm nostalgic for technology I never knew. On youtube, I'm listening to Star Trek audio dramas ripped from cassette tapes. In the comments, people are saying they used to listen to these tapes over and over when they were young. I was a kid back then, but I didn't realize audio dramas were a thing. I wish I experienced it back then.
