FOX News continues to hemorrhage viewers following the company’s decision to fire their top cable news host Tucker Carlson.

Tucker was averaging 3.2 million viewers a night in his primetime slot.

On Tuesday after his firing, FOX News had only 1.7 million viewers at 8 PM.

Since then FOX News has lost two-thirds of their viewers in the coveted 8 PM timeslot.

Their numbers have absolutely FLATLINED since firing their top-rated host.

On Thursday FOX News at Night, the show that replaced Tucker Carlson, had 1.394 viewers. They lost TWO-THIRDS of their audience! And after two weeks — IT’S NOT COMING BACK!

On Saturday FOX News SUDDENLY decided to air President Trump’s rally in Iowa. FOX Corp, with board member Paul Ryan, has REFUSED to air Trump rallies for months now.

E. Jean Carroll’s weird obsession with former President Donald Trump was revealed by internet sleuths who dug up her old online posts.

In a post that Carroll made on Facebook in August 2012, she indulged her sexual fantasies by pondering the question, “Would you have sex with Donald Trump for $17,000?” (Even if you could A) give the money to Charity? B) Close your eyes? And he’s not allowed to speak?)”.

Prior to that post, Carroll announced that she is a “MASSIVE” fan of Donald Trump’s show, The Apprentice.

It seems weird that you’re so into a show which entirely centered on your alleged rapist.

Tech billionaire to buy Forbes – media

Austin Russell will reportedly acquire a majority stake in the business publication for some $800 million

Austin Russell, a 28-year-old automotive tech billionaire, will buy a majority stake in Forbes Global Media Holdings from its current owner, Hong Kong-based Integrated Whale Media Investments (IWM), the Wall Street Journal and Reuters reported on Friday.

Russell is the CEO of Luminar Technologies, a tech company that provides autonomous driving technology to the auto industry and has a $2.1 billion market capitalization.

According to the reports, which cited statements from both Russell and IWM, Russell has agreed to acquire an 82% stake in Forbes, including the remaining shares that belong to the Forbes family. IWM will keep a minority stake. Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of the business outlet, reportedly plans to stay on with the company. The deal is evaluated at roughly $800 million.

The reports say that Russell does not plan to take part in Forbes’ news coverage and daily operations but will instead focus on boosting its growth and pursuing his philanthropic interests within the business. He also reportedly intends to set up a new board for Forbes, which will include technology, media and artificial-intelligence experts.

“Forbes is something I had always looked up to as a brand and as a media empire,” Russell told the WSJ. He noted that the money for the acquisition did not come from his shares in Luminar, but he did not provide further details.

“It is only fitting that now through this transaction, a true innovator and visionary Austin Russell will be the new steward for the brand,” commented Forbes CEO Mike Federle in a statement to Reuters.

The more than 100-year-old Forbes is one of the oldest media outlets in the US. Russell was at one time recognized by Forbes in its popular ‘30 Under 30’ list that features successful businessmen under the age of 30.

Non-Profit Hospitals Made Huge Profits During Pandemic While Receiving $23 Billion In Federal COVID-19 Aid: Report

The 20 largest non-profit hospitals in the country continued making massive profits while their cumulative net assets soared to $324.3 billion in 2021 from $200.6 billion in 2018. The year 2021 is the latest year available for cross-comparison purposes.

Those hospital systems received congressional Covid bailouts of $23 billion and only two providers partially paid their Covid bailout back.

Meanwhile, hospital executives racked up Wall Street-sized compensation packages which frequently exceeded $10 million per year. For example, the CEO at Ascension Healthcare based in St. Louis, Missouri made $13 million in 2021 – with three-year pay exceeding $22 million.

Furthermore, American life expectancy during this period sharply declined by a staggering 2.5 years from 2019 through 2022. While “comparable country averages” rebounded from a Covid-related drop in 2021, the U.S. continued declining in life expectancy.

Yet, the cost of health care is still astronomically high, as the average family paid $22,463 in health insurance premiums in 2022. That does not include out-of-pocket costs like co-pays and deductibles, which can be thousands more.

This has led to medical debt for about 100 million Americans.

In 2020, the Trump administration issued, and the Biden administration finalized (January 2021) a healthcare transparency rule – to spur market competition and inform patients.

Yet, two years after the rule took effect, an independent audit found that nearly three-quarters of hospitals in the country were not complying— flouting the mandate that prices be posted clearly and comprehensively.

Big Numbers

The 20 largest non-profit hospital systems saw their combined net assets soar 62 percent, or $124 billion, in the three years to 2021. You the U.S. taxpayer funded rocket ride. Examples:

The world-famous Mayo Clinic: Astounding 92 percent jump to $17.7 billion in 2021 from $9.2 billion in 2018.

Cleveland Clinic Health System: Up 60 percent to $15.6 billion in 2021.

Intermountain Healthcare: Up 63 percent to $11.6 billion. Tellingly, Colorado Governor Jared Polis had earlier cited Colorado hospitals for ‘non-profit profiteering.’

Northwestern Medicine: Up 43 percent to 11.9 billion.

Indiana University Health System: Up 47 percent to $10.3 billion from $7 billion in 2018.

Yet, not one of these systems complied fully with U.S. government price transparency rules, according to a key health care watchdog.
