US blocks China’s effort to condemn Israeli attacks on Gaza at UN: Report

For seven decades, Israel has skirted any responsibility for rampant human rights abuses against Palestinians thanks to Washington's unwavering support

US officials blocked an effort led by China at the UN Security Council (UNSC) on 10 May to condemn Israel’s latest onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip, according to senior Israeli officials that spoke with the Times of Israel.

Washington’s interference reportedly came at the request of Tel Aviv, who feared the motion at Tuesday’s emergency meeting “would draw an equivalence” between the Israeli army and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) resistance group.

Over the decades, the US has consistently stepped in to protect Israel from facing the consequences of rampant human rights abuses, the military occupation of Palestinian land, and the imposition of an apartheid system targeting Palestinians.

The only exception to this rule came earlier this year, when Washington allowed a statement to pass at the UNSC blasting Israel’s expansion of illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank. Nonetheless, the US went on to block a binding resolution against Israel.

Former US President Harry Truman was the first world leader to recognize Israel when it was created in 1948 following the ‘Nakba,’ or catastrophe, during which at least 700,000 Palestinians were violently evicted from their lands by Jewish settlers.

Israel is also the largest cumulative recipient of US foreign aid in the post-World War II era and enjoys unequivocal political and diplomatic cover from both the Democratic and Republican parties as well as from US corporate media.

However, US influence in the region has started to wane in recent months, pushing Israel further into isolation.

Last month, Beijing offered to help facilitate peace talks between Israel and Palestine as part of a larger effort to mediate historic conflicts in West Asia.

In December, Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed support for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine and voiced frustration over the “historical injustice” suffered by Palestinians.

He also called for granting Palestine “full membership in the United Nations” and said Beijing “supports the two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.”

The Asian giant has slammed recent comments by a Jewish supremacist government minister, who in March said, “there is no such thing as a Palestinian people.”

“The Israeli senior official is wrong and irresponsible to deny Palestinian people’s existence and to display an ‘Israel map’ including Jordan and Palestinian places occupied by Israel at an event in Paris,” said Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for China’s Foreign Ministry.

President Biden warns Howard University graduates: 'The most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy'

President Joe Biden gave a commencement speech at Howard University on Saturday, when he warned graduates of the dangerous threats the country faces from white supremacy.

Biden told the graduates of the historically black university, "The most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy."

He proudly added, "And I’m not saying this because I’m at a Black HBCU, I say it wherever I go."

Biden claimed that he hoped hatred would disappear after Barack Obama was elected as president of the United States, but alleged that hatred "never goes away" and only "hides under rocks."

"A vivid demonstration when it comes to race in America, hope doesn’t travel alone. It’s shadowed by fear, by violence and by hate," he asserted.

"There are those who demonize, and pit people against one another," President Biden added during his address, likely hinting at former President Donald Trump. "There are those who would do anything, everything, no matter how desperate or immoral, to hold on to power."

Biden continued, "That's never going to be an easy battle. But I know this: The oldest most sinister forces, they believe they'll determine America's future. But they are wrong. We will determine America's future. You will determine America's future."

Biden rehashed the Capitol riot from Jan. 6, 2021.

"January 2021 – I stood in the U.S. Capitol to be inaugurated as president of the United States," he said at the commencement ceremony. "Just days before, on that very spot, a violent insurrection took place. A dagger at the throat of democracy."

"For the first time in our history, an attempt to stop a peaceful transfer of power in this country. They failed. Our democracy held. Again hope prevailed," Biden said.

Biden then mentioned Vice President Kamala Harris, "And this time I was standing with a black woman, about to take a two-mile procession down Pennsylvania Avenue as president and vice president of the United States of America."

Biden mentioned the Howard University marching band performing at Biden's inauguration.

Biden bragged, "I was able to fulfill my commitment to put the first black woman on the Supreme Court of the United States of America."

Biden touted Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as "brighter than the rest" of the Supreme Court justices. He added, "She is one bright woman."

NC Gov. Roy Cooper vetoes abortion limits bill in front of charged crowd, triggers override showdown

In front of an exuberant crowd, North Carolina’s Democratic governor vetoed legislation Saturday that would have banned nearly all abortions in his state after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

About 1,000 abortion-rights activists and voters watched on a plaza in the capital of Raleigh as Gov. Roy Cooper affixed his veto stamp to the bill in an unconventionally public display.

The veto launches a major test for leaders of the GOP-controlled General Assembly to attempt an override vote after they recently gained veto-proof majorities in both chambers.

The bill was the Republican response to last year’s U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

“We’re going to have to kick it into an even higher gear when that veto stamp comes down,” Cooper told the crowd. “If just one Republican in either the House or the Senate keeps a campaign promise to protect women’s reproductive health, we can stop this ban.”

Andrea Long, a 42-year-old mother of three from Cary, said she was honored be part of an “electric” crowd on what she called a “historic day for freedom” in North Carolina.

“I couldn’t stop crying tears of joy seeing the governor hold up the veto stamp, but I know it’s an uphill battle to keep this momentum going,” Long said.

Cooper, a strong abortion-rights supporter, had until Sunday night to act on the measure that tightens current state law, which bans most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

The legislation passed along party lines last week in the House and Senate.

Override voting could begin next week.

Cooper spent this week on the road talking to North Carolinians about the bill’s lesser-known impacts and urging them to apply pressure upon key Republican lawmakers who were hesitant about further restrictions during their campaigns for office last year.

Republicans have pitched the measure as a middle-ground change to state abortion laws developed after months of private negotiations between House and Senate GOP members.

It adds exceptions to the 12-week ban, extending the limit through 20 weeks for rape and incest and through 24 weeks for “life-limiting” fetal anomalies.

Merrick Garland Approves Transfer of Russian Assets to Ukraine

U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced on Wednesday that he had given the go-ahead for the first transfer of confiscated Russian assets to Ukraine.

The U.S. Department of Justice charged Konstantin Malofeyev, a Russian oligarch, with breaching sanctions imposed on Russia following its invasion of Ukraine last year. The United States claimed that he had provided funds to Russians who were promoting separatism in Crimea.

Malofeyev accumulated his wealth through investments in various industries, including banking, telecommunications, and media.

Garland also revealed that last year authorities had seized millions of dollars from an account at a U.S. financial institution that could be linked to Malofeyev’s sanctions violations. In February, he authorized the transfer of that money to Ukraine.

“While this represents the United States’ first transfer of forfeited funds for the rebuilding of Ukraine. It will not be the last,” Garland said in a statement.

The expropriated money will be sent for the reconstruction of Ukraine in response to Moscow’s military operation, which began in February 2022.

Congress passed a law in December 2022 directing the Department of State to award certain proceeds from confiscated Russian assets to Ukraine.

Garland announced the first such transfer in February, which involved $5.4 million seized mostly from Malofeyev’s investment into a Texas bank.

Taskforce KleptoCapture

At the same time, Garland announced taskforce KleptoCapture, which involved a group of prosecutors, agents, analysts, translators, and other Justice Department personnel and law enforcement partners who have been prosecuting and effecting seizures against “sanctioned enablers” of the Kremlin and Russian military.

“And we are also exercising new authority granted by Congress to transfer certain assets we have seized from Russian oligarchs for the rebuilding of Ukraine,” Garland said. “Earlier this month, I authorized the first-ever transfer of such assets to the State Department to support the people of Ukraine.”

Such transfers of assets seized by the United States from Russians have been criticized by Moscow as “barbaric.” Moscow has threatened to respond with similar actions if deemed necessary, labeling the United States’ actions as “theft” and cautioned that it violates international law.

The Justice Department’s War Crimes Accountability Team has been collaborating closely with Ukrainian authorities to probe into specific crimes committed by Russian military personnel, such as assaults on civilian sites. The United States has unwaveringly supported Ukraine throughout Russia’s aggression and invasion since it began around 14 months ago.

“Over the past year, the Ukrainian people have shown the world what courage looks like,” said Garland in February. “For as long as it takes, the Department of Justice will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our Ukrainian and international partners in defense of justice and the rule of law.”

DHS Raids Chinese Solar Panel Maker in Florida, California

Homeland Security officers descended on a factory and office this week.

The facilities are owned by one of the world’s largest solar panel makers: China’s Jinko Solar Holding company.

A DHS spokesperson explained that search warrants were executed in Florida and California on Tuesday. He noted they’re part of an ongoing federal investigation, but didn’t give details.

Jinko is based in Shanghai but operates a solar panel factory in Jacksonville, Florida, and a sales and operations office in San Francisco.

The company is one of few global solar manufacturers that have set up domestic production in recent years. Most U.S. solar panels are imported from Asia.

Migrants with Dubious Asylum Claims Enjoy Massive Court Backlogs as DHS Schedules Hearings 4 to 10 Years Out

Migrants released into the United States with dubious asylum claims will enjoy a massive backlog in the nation’s immigration court system as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) schedules hearings as far out as a decade from now.

This week, President Joe Biden ended the Title 42 public health authority that was used for more than three years at the U.S.-Mexico border to remove close to three million illegal aliens and send them back to their native countries.

As a result, Biden’s DHS has implemented an expansive Catch and Release network that includes releasing border crossers into the U.S. interior with Notices to Appear (NTAs) in federal immigration court.

In some cases, as independent journalist Tayler Hansen reported, migrants are being given NTAs to appear before an immigration judge in 2026 and 2027:

In addition to issuing border crossers NTAs, the Biden administration had also issued Notices to Report (NTRs) for months — paperwork that effectively asks migrants to report, eventually, to a local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office and then to receive a court date.

DHS documents, reviewed by Breitbart News, show that as of February, migrants with NTRs have been given scheduled immigration hearings as far out as a decade from today. In New York, for instance, many border crossers will not have to go before an immigration judge until October 2032.

In other cities, like Jacksonville, Florida, and Miramar, Florida, migrants will not go before an immigration judge until 2028, and in Atlanta, Georgia, and San Antonio, Texas, migrants will not have their asylum cases heard until 2027.

The backlog is important for border crossers who file bogus asylum claims, as they can remain in the U.S. for years – in some cases, a decade – before ever having to face an immigration judge.

A fraction of border crossers released into the U.S. end up securing asylum. Take Biden’s “Dedicated Dockets” program, meant to fast-track the asylum process for migrants. Data published last year found that just one percent of border crossers in the program had valid claims for asylum to remain in the U.S.

What lunacy is this? This rapist’s name is actually Dominic Risden, from Bristol. And this week he was jailed for nine years for brutally raping his “vulnerable best friend” who has since repeatedly tried to kill herself.

I suppose we should be grateful Risden will be serving his sentence in a male prison where I’m sure he’ll ditch his newly acquired female I.D. for fear of a whole lot more than ridicule.

But why throughout the entire court case did the Judge, and indeed our justice system, afford him the courtesy of being addressed as Miss Lexi Rose Crawford. It’s an insult to the woman he raped. And it’s an insult to our collective intelligence.

Former Labour Government MP Jailed for Just 28 Months for Possessing Child Porn

A former MP who previously served in a Labour Party government has been jailed after being found with nearly 1,500 indecent images of children.

Paul Clark, 66, the former Labour Party MP for Gillingham in Kent from 1997-2010, will be jailed for just 28 months after being found in possession of nearly 1,500 images of child pornography. He will also be put on the Sex Offenders’ List for a decade.

Clark had formerly served as a junior minister within Tony Blair’s government, as well as acting as the private secretary for a variety of high-ranking figures in the party, including former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott and education secretary Ed Balls.

According to a report by LBC, Clark pled guilty to both making and distributing indecent images of children back in December with police having found him in possession of 298 Category A videos and stills, 415 Category B, and 733 Category C after a raid on his home, totalling just under 1,500 indecent images of children.

“I kept telling myself to stop,” the former parliamentarian reportedly told police during the raid, also informing officers that he “knew” why they were there.

None of the offences occurred at a time when Clark was serving as an MP, the Labour Party’s veteran’s lawyer claimed, with prosecutors saying that the vast majority of the images were downloaded during periods of COVID lockdown.

Sentencing Clark, the proceeding judge described the politician’s fall from grace as “tragic”, adding that “jail was inevitable” due to the seriousness of the charges put against him.

Prosecutor Catrin Attwell said: “Examination of the electronic devices revealed offences relating to indecent images of children on five devices, this included imagery of children as young as three and a high number of moving images.

“The electronic devices also revealed chatlogs in which Clark discussed his sexual desires, distributed indecent images of children to others for their sexual gratification and used social media to identify and talk to users under the age of 18.

“Our Organised Child Sexual Abuse Unit was set up in April 2022 to prosecute child sexual abuse. We work closely with law enforcement agencies to build strong cases against offenders using the internet and social media to commit sexual offences and are determined to help stop the devastating impact of these crimes on victims and bring offenders to justice.”

World Bank caught funneling cash to sanctioned Chinese companies tied to the CCP, human rights abuses

The moneychangers over at the World Bank have been actively funding communist China’s military and human rights abuses, a new federal review of contracts has shown.

The U.S Government Accountability Office (GAO) published a report showing that the World Bank funneled $25 million in 2021 to various Chinese companies that are on the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctions lists, meaning nobody is supposed to be doing business with them.

Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps., for instance, received $7.1 million from the World Bank in 2021 for being a “state-run paramilitary corporate conglomerate” that is “involved in a pervasive program of egregious rights violations that [affect] the most marginalized people in the Uyghur Region,” explains another report by the Helena Kennedy Centre at the United Kingdom’s Sheffield Hallam University.

The GAO report says that these and other findings could “raise national security or foreign policy concerns for the U.S.,” as well as raise new questions about the role of the U.S. as the top financial contributor to the World Bank, which appears to be very closely aligned with communist China.

Should the United States contribute anything at all to the World Bank?

In its defense, the World Bank told the Washington Free Beacon that it “upholds a principle of universal / open eligibility, which guarantees that bidders from all our 189 member countries are eligible to bid for Bank-financed contracts.”

“The only exceptions are entities that are subject to sanctions imposed by the United Nations’ Security Council,” a spokesman added.

Other Chinese-linked companies that received cash from the World Bank in 2021 include the China Communications Construction Company, which received a $6.8 million contract from a World Bank borrower.

The China Communications Construction Company, according to former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, is one of the “leading contractors used by Beijing in its global ‘One Belt One Road’ strategy, engaged in corruption, predatory financing, environmental destruction, and other abuses across the world.”

Other Chinese-linked recipients of cash from the World Bank in 2021 include the China National Chemical Corp., Ltd., and China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., both of which were sanctioned for their connections to the Chinese military.

There is also the China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation, which was sanctioned for attempting to undermine the “democratic” process in Venezuela.

A subsidiary of Huawei, another blacklisted Chinese company that is accused of engaging in corporate espionage and violating U.S. sanctions on Iran, also received $9 million in contracts from the World Bank the year prior in 2020.

The World Bank insists that it screens its contractors against the U.S. sanctions lists, but only for “practical concerns” related to transfers of money. The bank added that it does not “permit use of [U.S. sanctions] or other national lists to determine eligibility” for contract awards.

Borrowers are also allowed to find alternative payment routes, the World Bank indicated, in order to work with sanctioned contractors.

Because the World Bank does not include ownership names, addresses, or other identifying information in its public data, the GAO says it was unable to definitively identify all recipients of World Bank cash, despite making every effort to do so.

“While the World Bank was created to support developing countries, companies in China – the world’s second-largest economy – are the biggest beneficiaries of its contracts,” reports explain.

“Businesses in China received 29.2 percent of all contract funding from the World Bank between 2013 and 2022, compared with 2.4 percent for U.S. companies and 4.4 percent for French companies, the GAO analysis found.”

Human trafficking sting in Ohio catches 10 men, 'a banner day for the task force'

Officials said that among those arrested were a middle school teacher, a non-profit executive, an illegal immigrant as well as a former superintendent for Westlake City Schools.

Ten men were arrested in connection to a human trafficking sting operation in North Olmsted, Ohio.

The men range in age from 30 to 55, and were arrested on Thursday on sex charges by members of the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, according to Fox News.

One of the men taken into custody is a registered Tier III sex offender, according to the Ohio attorney general's office. He is 35-year-old Errol Jackson, of Lorain, and was arrested for promoting prostitution, with more charges expected.

Officials said that among those arrested were a middle school teacher, a non-profit executive, an illegal immigrant as well as a former superintendent for Westlake City Schools.

The arrests were part of a one-day operation to identify those providing and purchasing commercial sex, according to the outlet. Seven potential human trafficking victims were identified during the operation and were given resources from multiple agencies.

"Yesterday was a banner day for the task force," Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said in a statement on Friday. "Their commitment to wiping out the scourge of human trafficking is making a difference in the lives of the victims and having a big impact on the region."

"Activities like these are not a North Olmsted problem. These activities are an every city problem. You may think it's not happening in your community but you can see by the addresses of the people arrested, they will travel to find what they are looking for at hotels in our communities," added the North Olmsted Police Department on Facebook.

Jewish former first lady of Peru flees to Israel after extradition request

Peru does not have an extradition agreement in place with Israel.

Eliane Karp, Peru’s former Jewish first lady, has flown from the United States to Israel in an attempt to avoid extradition to Peru in a money laundering case.

Peruvian Prime Minister Alberto Otárola announced the news on Wednesday at a press conference in Lima.

“The United States Department of Justice has informed the Peruvian embassy in the US that Mrs. Eliane Karp has taken a flight to Israel using her Israeli passport,” he said.

Peru does not have an extradition treaty with Israel.

Karp was first lady of Peru from 2001 to 2006. Born to Jewish parents in France, she is an anthropologist who met her husband, former Peruvian President Alejandro Toledo, while the two were students at Stanford University. Before getting her PhD from the California university, Karp got her bachelor’s degree at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Extradition attempts made

In April, Toledo was extradited from the United States to Lima, where he is now in prison. He is accused of accepting tens of millions of dollars in bribes in exchange for public works contracts. Toledo denies all wrongdoing.

Peruvian authorities also attempted to extradite Karp from the United States for a separate embezzlement case involving Karp, her mother and her husband.

In 2013, a Peruvian prosecutor discovered that Ecoteva Consulting Group, an offshore company in Costa Rica founded by Toledo, was used to pay the mortgages of expensive real estate for Karp’s mother, Eva Fernenburg. Initially, Toledo claimed the money from this company came from reparations paid by Germany to Fernenburg, a Holocaust survivor. Later he said that the money came from Israeli businessman Yossi Maiman.

Prosecutors believe that money used to create Ecoteva came from bribes and are therefore seeking a sentence of 16 years and 8 months for both Toledo and Karp. On April 20, a California judge ordered the return of Karp’s passport.

While first lady, Karp was known for her ability to speak Quechua, one of the indigenous languages of Peru, and for her tendency to explosively call out those who disagreed with her. In 2004, at an event at the Israeli embassy in Lima, Karp began yelling at a Israeli-Peruvian media tycoon (in Hebrew and Spanish) whose TV channel had criticized her. She later apologized to the Israeli ambassador.

Ukrainian President Zelensky met with Pope Francis and the leaders of Italy in a show of support

The meeting occurred at a time that Ukraine has regained some of the territory Russia had taken over in Bakhmut, following a reported Russian withdrawal from the area.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with Pope Francis for the first time since Russia invaded his country in February of 2022.

Zelensky was in Rome for a one-day visit, meeting with Italy's president, Sergio Mattarella, the prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, and later at the Vatican with Pope Francis, according to The Guardian.

Both Italian leaders emphasized Italy's continuing and full support for Ukraine "in terms of military, financial, humanitarian and reconstruction aid in the short and long term," according to the outlet.

Prime Minister Meloni condemned Russia's "brutal and unjust aggression" at a news conference with Zelensky, and she pledged Italy's continued support for Ukraine for "as long as is necessary." She called on Russia to immediately withdraw from Ukraine.

"You can't achieve peace through a surrender," she said, adding that "It would be a very grave precedent for all nations of the world."

She also emphasized Italy's support for Ukraine's membership in the European Union and the "intensification" of a partnership with NATO.

The meeting occurred at a time that Ukraine has regained some of the territory Russia had taken over in the eastern city of Bakhmut, following a reported Russian withdrawal from the area.

Moscow's defense ministry said on Friday that some of its troops had dropped back "to more advantageous defensive positions." This comes amid speculation that Ukraine is beginning a spring counterattack.

Biden DOJ seeks emergency court order allowing it to continue releasing illegal migrants into U.S.

The administration informed the court it intends to appeal a federal judge’s ruling to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The Biden Justice Department sought an emergency order Saturday allowing it to continue releasing illegal aliens into the United States, a policy a federal judge blocked as the crisis at the southern border escalated with thousands of new migrants taking advantage of the lifting of the Title 42 policy.

DOJ attorneys asked the U.S. District Court in in Florida to stay Judge T. Kent Wetherell II's two-week restraining order on the Biden administration policy

The administration informed the court that it intends to appeal Wetherell’s ruling to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

The Biden administration’s policy was described in a Border Patrol memo this week, saying that migrants can be allowed into the country on parole if CBP is facing overcrowding. The parole process is typically reserved for "urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.”

The administration argues that the restraining order on its parole policy will "irreparably harm the United States and the public by frustrating measures that are necessary to secure the border and protect the health and welfare of both migrants and Border Patrol Agents," the filing states.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody argued in the state’s lawsuit that the "parole with conditions" policy was materially identical to a policy blocked by Wetherell in March, and he agreed with that assessment in his order.

Wetherell was not persuaded by the government's arguments that blocking migrant releases will cause harm.

"Putting aside the fact that even President Biden recently acknowledged that the border has been in chaos for 'a number of years,' Defendants' doomsday rhetoric rings hollow because, as explained in detail in Florida, this problem is largely one of Defendants' own making through the adoption an implementation of policies that have encouraged the so-called 'irregular migration' that has become fairly regular over the past 2 years," he wrote.

Alaska House passes bill to make gold and silver legal tender

In the final days of the legislative session, the Alaska House passed a bill that would allow gold and silver to be used as legal tender.

House Bill 3, introduced by Big Lake Republican Rep. Kevin McCabe, would allow business owners to decide if they want to accept the precious metals as currency. The coin or bar would need to be refined and its value would need to be authenticated, meaning gold dust or nuggets could not be used.

McCabe told the House State Affairs Committee earlier in the session that one of his constituents suggested the idea to him because they did not trust the national banking system. More than 10 states have passed similar bills, including Arkansas in April.

The bill specifically exempts local governments from collecting sales tax when U.S. dollars are exchanged for gold and silver. Sales taxes on purchases made with the bullion would still apply.

The use of gold and silver as currency would also still attract federal capital gains tax. If their value increased between the time when they were bought and sold, the user could be guilty of tax evasion if they did not report that income.

States such as Wyoming and Utah have used Goldback, Inc. to design their gold bills, which are then produced by Oregon-based company Valaurum. McCabe showed examples of the other states’ gold bills during a committee hearing and suggested that the Alaska Arts Council could design a local version.

If the measure passes the Senate, a joint legislative committee would be tasked with studying alternative currencies that could be adopted and used in Alaska.

The Sound Money Defense League, a national organization that describes itself as being laser focused on “restoring gold and silver to its historic role as America’s constitutional money,” has supported states across the nation to pass similar bills. Policy director JP Cortez told Alaska lawmakers that waiving taxes on gold and silver would remove disincentives for their use, and that bullion was a good option to avoid the effects of inflation.

HB 3 attracted opposition from Democrats and independents in the House on Thursday. Rep. Rebecca Himschoot, a Sitka independent, said she opposed the bill because it would restrict local communities’ abilities to tax themselves.

The House bill advanced to the Senate on a 25-15 vote Thursday, with opposition coming from members of the Democrat-dominated minority caucus. The regular legislative session must end by midnight next Wednesday.

President Joe Biden is commending Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez for Spain’s commitment to collaborate with the United States to expand pathways for migrants fleeing from Latin America

President Joe Biden commended Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez for his country's collaboration with the United States and Canada to establish migration hubs in Latin America where asylum seekers fleeing poverty and violence in their home countries can apply for protection.

The two leaders sat down at the White House on Friday for wide-ranging talks on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, climate change and other issues. But efforts by the U.S. and Spain to cooperate on asylum processing loomed large over the discussion as the Biden administration rolls out new immigration measures now that COVID-19 immigration restrictions have ended.

The new efforts are designed to crack down on illegal border crossings while opening legal pathways to give migrants incentives to apply for asylum online where they are, instead of making the dangerous journey to the border.

Migrants caught illegally crossing the southern U.S. border cannot return for five years, and they face criminal prosecution if they do. And migrants will be barred from seeking asylum at the border if they do not first ask for protection in a country they traveled through or apply online.

A major piece of the expanded legal pathway is the creation of processing centers in Colombia and Guatemala and up to 100 others in the Western Hemisphere where migrants can go to apply to enter the U.S., Spain or Canada.

“We’re both facing the challenges of migration in the Western Hemisphere,” Biden told Sanchez at the start of the Oval Office meeting.

It was a huge step for the White House to get Spain and Canada to agree to take in asylum seekers from Latin America. And it helps reinforce the Biden administration’s argument that the current migration quandary facing the Americas is a global problem that needs a global solution — much like the refugee crises that have impacted Syria, Afghanistan and Ukraine in recent years.

The State Department on Thursday announced a website where asylum seekers can now find information on the process and will eventually be able to request appointments.

The U.S. has increasingly seen migrants arrive at its southern border who are from China, Ukraine, Haiti, Russia and other nations far from Latin America and who are increasingly family groups and children traveling alone. Thirty years ago, by contrast, illegal crossings were almost always single adults from Mexico who were easily returned over the border.

The Federal Reserve Cartel: A Financial Parasite

United World Federalists founder James Warburg’s father was Paul Warburg, who financed Hitler with help from Brown Brothers Harriman partner Prescott Bush. [1]

Colonel Ely Garrison was a close friend of both President Teddy Roosevelt and President Woodrow Wilson. Garrison wrote in Roosevelt, Wilson and the Federal Reserve, “Paul Warburg was the man who got the Federal Reserve Act together after the Aldrich Plan aroused such nationwide resentment and opposition. The mastermind of both plans was Baron Alfred Rothschild of London.”

The Aldrich Plan was hatched at a secret 1910 meeting at JP Morgan’s private resort on Jekyl Island, SC between Rockefeller, lieutenant Nelson Aldrich and Paul Warburg of the German Warburg banking dynasty. Aldrich, a New York congressman, later married into the Rockefeller family. His son Winthrop Aldrich chaired Chase Manhattan Bank. While the bankers met, Colonel Edward House, another Rockefeller stooge and close confidant of President Woodrow Wilson, was busy convincing Wilson of the importance of a private central bank and the introduction of a national income tax. A member of House’s staff was British MI6 Permindex insider General Julius Klein. [2]

Wilson didn’t need much convincing, since he was beholden to copper magnate Cleveland Dodge, whose namesake Phelps Dodge became one of the biggest mining companies in the world. Dodge bankrolled Wilson’s political career. Wilson even wrote his inaugural speech on Dodge’s yacht. [3]

Wilson was a classmate of both Dodge and Cyrus McCormick at Princeton. Both were directors at Rockefeller’s National City Bank (now Citigroup). Wilson’s main focus was on overcoming public distrust of the bankers, which New York City Mayor John Hylan echoed in 1922 when he argued, “The real menace to our republic is the invisible government which, like a giant octopus, sprawls its slimy length over our city, state and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses, generally referred to as the international bankers”. [4]

But the Eight Families prevailed. In 1913 the Federal Reserve Bank was born, with Paul Warburg its first Governor. Four years later the US entered World War I, after a secret society known as the Black Hand assassinated Archduke Ferdinand and his Hapsburg wife. The Archduke’s friend Count Czerin later said, “A year before the war he informed me that the Masons had resolved upon his death.”[5]

That same year, Bolsheviks overthrew the Hohehzollern monarchy in Russia with help from Max Warburg and Jacob Schiff, while the Balfour Declaration leading to the creation of Israel was penned to Zionist Second Lord Rothschild.

In the 1920’s Baron Edmund de Rothschild founded the Palestine Economics Commission, while Kuhn Loeb’s Manhattan offices helped Rothschild form a network to smuggle weapons to Zionist death squads bent on seizing Palestinian lands. General Julius Klein oversaw the operation and headed the US Army Counterintelligence Corps, which later produced Henry Kissinger. Klein diverted Marshall Plan aid to Europe to Zionist terror cells in Palestine after WWII, channeling the funds through the Sonneborn Institute, which was controlled by Baltimore chemical magnate Rudolph Sonneborn. His wife Dorothy Schiff is related to the Warburgs. [6]

The Kuhn Loebs came to Manhattan with the Warburgs. At the same time the Bronfmans came to Canada as part of the Moses Montefiore Jewish Colonization Committee. The Montefiores have carried out the dirty work of Genoese nobility since the 13th Century. The di Spadaforas served that function for the Italian House of Savoy, which was bankrolled by the Israel Moses Seif family for which Israel is named. Lord Harold Sebag Montefiore is current head of the Jerusalem Foundation, the Zionist wing of the Knights of St. John’s Jerusalem. The Bronfmans (the name means “liquorman” in Yiddish) tied up with Arnold Rothstein, a product of the Rothschild’s dry goods empire, to found organized crime in New York City. Rothstein was succeeded by Lucky Luciano, Meyer Lansky, Robert Vesco and Santos Trafficante. The Bronfmans are intermarried with the Rothschilds, Loebs and Lamberts. [7]

The year 1917 also saw the 16th Amendment added to the US Constitution, levying a national income tax, though it was ratified by only two of the required 36 states. The IRS is a private corporation registered in Delaware. [8] Four years earlier the Rockefeller Foundation was launched, to shield family wealth from the new income tax provisions, while steering public opinion through social engineering. One of its tentacles was the General Education Board.

Zelensky plotted attacks inside Russia – WaPo

The Ukrainian leader reportedly wanted to “occupy” Russian cities to gain leverage over Moscow

Despite public assurance that he would limit military action to his own territory, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky formed plans to conduct attacks on Russian soil and suggested that Kiev “destroy” the industry of Hungary, the Washington Post reported on Saturday, citing leaked Pentagon documents.

Citing US intelligence reports recently published on a gaming server, the Post described how Zelensky suggested at a meeting in January that his troops “conduct strikes in Russia,” while moving across the border to “occupy unspecified Russian border cities” in order to “give Kiev leverage in talks with Moscow.”

Less than two months later, the Ukraine-based Russian Volunteer Corps launched a cross-border raid that left two civilians dead in Russia’s Bryansk Region. A member of the group told Western media that Kiev had approved the attack, and further assaults have taken place since.

With Ukraine’s Western backers reluctant until recently to provide him with long-range missiles for fear he would use them against targets within Russia, Zelensky suggested to his top military commander, General Valery Zaluzhny, that he use drones to “attack unspecified deployment locations in Rostov” in February, the Post reported.

Prior to and after the alleged meeting, Ukrainian forces used drones to attack infrastructure in Rostov Region, which borders the formerly Ukrainian territory of Lugansk.

In a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svridenko in February, Zelensky reportedly suggested that Ukraine “blow up” the Druzhba oil pipeline, which transports Russian oil to Hungary. According to the US report cited by the Post, Zelensky suggested that “Ukraine should just blow up the pipeline and destroy…Hungarian [Prime Minister] Viktor Orban’s industry, which is based heavily on Russian oil.”

American spies listening to his meeting with Svridenko concluded that Zelensky was issuing “hyperbolic, meaningless threats.” Nevertheless, the Druzhba pipeline has come under attack on several occasions since the meeting, most recently when it was hit by drone-dropped explosives on Wednesday.

The Post’s article corroborates a CNN report last month claiming that US spies have been intercepting Zelensky’s communications.

Contacted by the newspaper, Zelensky dismissed the incidents described in the report as “fantasies,” and claimed that “no one in our country has given orders for offensives or strikes on Russian territory.”

This is plainly not the case. Apart from the above mentioned Bryansk raids and Rostov drone strikes, the Russian regions of Belgorod and Kursk have been shelled by Kiev’s forces in recent months, Moscow has blamed Ukrainian terrorists for bombing the Crimean Bridge and attempting to assassinate President Vladimir Putin, and one of Ukraine’s top intelligence chiefs has taken credit for the assassination of several Russian public figures.

Such acts of terrorism, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement earlier this month, will “not be left unanswered.”
