Tom Van Hoose, owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters, alleges that he has been under constant surveillance by state and federal agencies for over two years, KRTV reported. On Wednesday, the gun shop owner reported an unexpected visit from 20 heavily armed IRS agents at his store. The agents reportedly arrived at the shop early in the morning, as Van Hoose was opening for the day.

The ABC has told reporters to avoid referring to child sex abusers as “pedophiles” because it marginalizes people with pedophilia.
According to The Australian, a leaked email sent from a senior producer to all news staff in Tasmania this week advised against using the term “pedophile,” even when describing serial child abusers.
“We should avoid it,” the email said. “Unless we know he had a clinical diagnosis of paedophilia and instead use serial sexual offender / predator, or a sexual abuser of children and young people.
“SASS says another consideration is from their point of view, there are a lot of paedophiles / people with paedophilia who do not act on those impulses, especially if they reach out for and receive professional psychological help… describing (perhaps technically inaccurately) Griffin as a paedophile could discourage those people from seeking help, making it more likely that they go on to abuse children.”

"What I learned is the way you submit your appeal, or whatever, is through your own profile, your own account," he said, FOX Atlanta reported. "If you don't have an account, you have no way of submitting it, so it’s like a dog chasing its tail."
When finding a human to hear his appeal became impossible, he sued.
Crawford explained: "It was as if I didn't exist and Facebook was operated by a bunch of ghosts or something."
And the silence continued.
Because Facebook’s legal team did not respond to the lawsuit, a judge ordered Meta to pay him $50,000.
That’s when he finally heard from the tech company.
He also explained he was not taking legal action for the money, but that he wanted to hold the company accountable for not giving him answers.
The fight is not yet finished, however, as Crawford claims Facebook is not cooperating with the judgment and has not paid out a dime.
"Every step of the way Facebook is choosing not to do the right thing," he told FOX Atlanta.

Crawford continued: "It feels like a poke in the eye, and it feels like they're continuing to poke in the eye. Poke the local court system in the eye. Poke me in the eye. Poke other users in the eye, and it’s time that they at least respect our legal system."
