LadySir's incisions are not well approximated and show signs of dehiscence…LadySir's problems haven't even started yet. That "surgery" is going to fail and it will be left with a gaping mass of flesh that will have to be tended to several times a day, for many weeks, and thats if it doesn't kill em.
Two Tiers strikes again, but there's nothing to be done about it. I mean we are talking the world superpower Bahamas. You dont want to piss them off, they might start a war over it, and nobody likes war…
They aren't even trying to hide it anymore, they might as well just said Screw America, we are letting him go.
Thanks, but I will not have tens of millions of unsupervised kids terrorizing my country, tyvm…
Really.
What happens to the kids who dont get sent to school, but parents are working all day? All day, nothin to do. You cant be that retarded…
I remember feeling that way at the time. Now, Im all grown up. Im not saying centralized is better, of course state control is best. However, they must be taught to be civil, read, write, calculate and make good decisions.
Civilization is learned, without it, we return to the animals we are.
Are you living in a time warp anon? That stuff is long gone, I had one of those ramps, we ran wild all summer. This is not that world anymore.
I took home economics and yes, they taught us how to file a tax form, balance a checkbook, make a budget, fill out a job application, cook, hell even make my own clothes if I wanted.
No one is stopping you from taking your kids out.
Raw milk was all the store had. You had to shake it up everytime because it wasn't homogenized. Pisses spouse anon off to no end because I shake the milk jug.
The point is, these are different times. You cant go back the way it used to be, unless you mean all the way back. 2045 is almost here, you cant go back to 1945. Well, you can, but society is not going to follow you. They have a date with destiny.
I survived, and I am comfy as fuck. Good job, nice houses, more cars than drivers. Big lawn, huge garden, long marriage… I'd say opportunity is what you make it anon.
I take it you didn't get as much from your education. Or could it be that was your attitude at 16 and you dropped out?
Parents? Teach math?? They can't even help with the homework anon, much less explain differential equations. You over estimate the average American. Maybe in the small towns something could be arranged within the community. But not any large urban area.
Nobody wants to be around todays youth, not even the parents. What parent doesn't celebrate the start of a new school year?
I am pro school, not pro-federally controlled school, not pro private school. Not disagreeing there is something wrong with public schools.
Definitely against just sending em home to parents.

And you can take those digits to the fucking bank
My rents divorced when I was 7. Bounced back and forth, back and forth. Left the first time at 12, then 14, then 16 and never went back. They werent bad parents, we were the lock key generation. We raised ourselves. If I tried the shit today, I was doing then, I would surely be trafficked, harvested and dead.
I really have to go now…
To all the schoolies in here, I gotta go teach a bunch of the most entitled, spoiled, arrogant adults the last generation could ever produce, wish me luck because in another 6 months they'll be your nurse.
