In homeschooling communities, co-operative learning groups form, wherein people take turns teaching on subjects with which they have some expertise. Poor people also have expertise - as anon earlier noted, practical skills such as repairing things, restoring things, cooking, etc. Everyone has something to contribute. Even storytelling is an age-old way in which to pass wisdom from one generation to the next; and storytelling knows no financial boundaries.
