The reason tube tv's disappeard is the same reason incandescent lights are now b&. They create wormholes. Tube tvs were usefull because they thought the wormhole was only one way. No such thing. They tried to mitigate this with many different means but the mechanics of the universe do not bend to the pipedreams of tiny hats.

The tiny hats are scared of the wormholes. It makes the weapons of thier masters useless. So keep your bulbs, hit a clearance sale, or buy an old tube radio.
