Consider the sauce of stories, Anons. There's moar to the story about the allegedly medically kidnapped lawyer, Mr. Siegel. Siegel's own daughter, a disgraced lawyer namedLisa Siegel Belanger, was found to have stolen $85,000 from her impaired father.
Belanger has been suspended for years according to the Mass. Lawyer Licensing website at
https://bbopublic.massbbo.org/web/f/BD2020-013.pdf
A relevant quote from the Massachusetts Supreme Court's order of suspension says ==”The judge found that the respondent [Mr. Siegel’s daughter, the suspended attorney called Lisa Siegel Belanger] had exploited her father financially, causing him "to withdraw $85,000 of which the majority of the funds were disbursed for her personal benefit and/or to achieve the legal objectives to further financially exploit" her father.“
IfLisa Siegel Belanger, the suspended lawyer, had not stolen $85,000 from her dying father (Mr. Siegel) in the first place, the state never would have gotten involved in their lives. She started the nightmare but she now is out there apparently lying to the world about the facts of the case.
This story is not what it seems, and it's being misrepresented by the suspended attorney, Belanger, whose credibility is shot. Google the lady. Plenty of complaints about her that have nothing to do with her theft of $85,000 from her dying father.
Consider the sauce. Always consider the sauce.
