The pop star's dad Joe Germanotta, 66, lives in The Pythian on the Upper West Side - and just down the street, the city transformed the Stratford Arms Hotel into a shelter for 500 migrants.

 

He has now claimed that the streets have been overrun with partying, prostitution, and reckless behavior because of the new neighbors.

 

On average, 2,300 migrants are arriving in the Big Apple each week - depleting the city's finite resources and buckling the welfare system in place.

 

He told the New York Post: 'There's now 500 migrants living in that dormitory. That's when all the mayhem began. Hookers are coming and going. In the mornings, you see prostitutes coming out of the building.

 

'The worst part's at night. The noise. It starts at about 10 o'clock, and it'll go until 4 in the morning. Playing music and racing their motocross and motorbikes up and down the streets.'

 

'Put the proper security in place, have a police presence and a code of conduct. They're guests in our neighborhood, and they have basically taken over.'

 

Germanotta said that none of the UWS residents were given any notice about the migrant shelter - and trash and needles now litter the once-clean sidewalks.

 

While he said the migrants are probably good people, he said their anti-social behavior was becoming a problem, and the people who decided to place them in the building have 'screwed' the locals.

 

They are even catcalling teenage girls as young as 14, New Jersey-born Germanotta said.

 

The now-migrant center used to house the American Music and Dance Academy.

 

He said about Eric Adams' response to the crisis: 'In my opinion, you should have just suspended 'sanctuary city' status until we had enough housing and then said, 'Yeah, OK, you can send some more.

 

'It's a joke. Why doesn't he get one of the cruise ships? The cruise ships hold more people, and it's a more controlled environment.

 

'The city is spending a tremendous amount of money that could be spent towards building affordable housing.

 

'The really sad part is that in the neighborhood, we still have our share of veterans and homeless — but we're not taking care of our own.

 

'They don't get food every day. It's really sad. I feel for them.'

 

Just last week, the corner of East 45th Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in Manhattan had been the epicenter of the country's migrant influx.

 

Hundreds lined the block hoping to get inside the makeshift processing center after coming to the area on buses from the south.

 

The scene left residents angry as they demanded Mayor Eric Adams do more.

 

The Roosevelt Hotel and others have become hubs for refugees - within walking distance from Times Square, the World Trade Center memorial site and the Empire State Building.

 

Over the weekend, the migrants were handed small red tickets with digits on them - and once in a while hotel workers would come out and call numbers to let people inside the air-conditioned lobby.

Lazzaro - who once tweeted a video of Joe Biden saying 'parents need to keep their kids away from Creepy Joe' - was found guilty in March by a federal jury of seven counts of 'commercial sex acts' with five girls ages 15 and 16 in 2020, when Lazzaro was 30.

 

On social media he would frequently boast about his flashy lifestyle by posting photos of himself with planes, sports cars and bottles of champagne.

 

One 15-year-old said she was picked up from a slumber party with two friends while another was paid to have group sex with Lazzaro and her older sister.

 

He was also accused of recruiting Gisela Castro Medina, 21, who eventually testified against him.

 

Lazzaro paid Medina more than $54,000, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.

 

Prosecutors said the money was payment for her obtaining underage girls for his pleasure as well as for her silence.

 

Lazzaro told the court he gave Medina the sums out of generosity. He plans to appeal the decision, a spokesman told Associated Press.

 

Some of the victims said they were introduced to Lazzaro on social media through Medina or a male acquaintance of his.

L. c. 221, secs. 35, 36, and 37), together with unprecedented allegations that, through those Bar Admissions-related alleged acts of egregious judicial misconduct since at least 1990 (according to Ms. Oulton’s colleagues' and her research), the Supreme Judicial Court has allegedly stolen (and allegedly continues to steal) many millions of taxpayer dollars in support of the allegedly non-existent Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners from the Massachusetts and United States taxpayers.

 

The Motion also embedded a video depicting Ms. Oulton’s October 29, 2021, testimony about these allegations of criminal conduct by Massachusetts judicial officials (including those at the Massachusetts Appeals Court), made to the Massachusetts Legislature’s Joint Committee on the Judiciary, after which Ms. Oulton and others filed Emergency Petitions asking the Massachusetts Legislature to remove all of the judges allegedly involved in the alleged criminal cover-up from the Massachusetts Judicial Branch.

 

Apparently no action on those Emergency Petitions seeking the removal of judges was taken, by the Massachusetts Legislature or Governor (who was served the testimony), at any time so far, therefore it seems that the Massachusetts Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches intentionally have established a gruesome but unconstitutional new system of government that allows state government officials to falsely imprison Massachusetts citizens at nursing homes that have illicit business relationships with Massachusetts judicial officials, steal all personal and real property from those citizens, kill the falsely imprisoned citizens, and then steal the remaining personal and real property from the dead victims’ estates without any criminal or civil consequences whatsoever.

 

Moreover, by allegedly willfully and knowingly violating the three Massachusetts statutes governing Massachusetts Bar Admissions, it seems that the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has willfully and knowingly established a system through which certain law school graduates can be arbitrarily and capriciously excluded from the Massachusetts Bar so that they do not have the ability, as licensed attorneys, to challenge the apparently deadly system now in place.

Ms. Oulton’s unbelievable allegations of ongoing criminal conduct by Massachusetts judicial officials were not challenged, admonished, or sanctioned by the Massachusetts Appeals Court.Interestingly, the Massachusetts Appeals Court made no mention of Ms. Oulton’s allegations of deadly judicial misconduct or of the alleged ongoing criminal cover-up that was allegedly facilitated by the Massachusetts Appeals Court, itself, when the Massachusetts Appeals Court allowed the Motion on August 9, 2023. This is likely because all allegations were substantiated with documentation referenced in the Motion.

 

The Massachusetts Appeals Court’s silence on the allegations speaks volumes. In Friday's motion (TINY URL FORWARD SLASH20230804OultonMAC) Ms. Oulton addressed her allegations of Massachusetts judicial officials’ misconduct so bluntly and directly that Ms. Oulton would have been crazy to do such a thing, if the allegations that Ms. Oulton made were false. But importantly, all of Ms. Oulton’s allegations are true, so the Massachusetts Appeals Court apparently chose not to address them at all. Although the surprising allegations were presented credibly, with documents substantiating them, and although they were presented in a way that seemed as courteous and professional as possible, under the circumstances, the Massachusetts Appeals Court would have been proper to blast Ms. Oulton, if the allegations were false.

 

But no such scolding or sanctioning occurred. Rather than admonish Ms. Oulton or punish her, in any way, for making such disturbing and unprecedented allegations, the Massachusetts Appeals Court simply:

 

(1) allowed the necessary extension of a filing deadline that Ms. Oulton requested for the reasons that Ms. Oulton presented in the Motion; and

 

(2) remained completely silent about Ms. Oulton’s allegations of ongoing criminal conduct by Massachusetts judicial officials in the (1) Trial Court, (2) Appeals Court; and (3) Supreme Judicial Court made in the winning Motion filed in the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

 

This was, apparently, because the disturbing criminal RICO scheme that Ms. Oulton described in the Motion was very well-documented and thus, obviously true. It seems that remaining silent is likely the best course of action for the Massachusetts Appeals Court to take at this time, given that the Emergency Petitions seeking the removal of the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court and other Appeals Court judges are still pending, at this time, and given that the Motion informed that court of currently ongoing and future investigations by officials working far outside of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Employees of a Florida-based retail health company said JP Morgan Chase Bank suddenly terminated their personal and company bank accounts without an explanation.

One of the employees believes the account shutdowns were politically motivated and due to their employer’s controversial stance on COVID-19.

Another Mercola Market employee said the sudden decision to close her account is creating additional hurdles to help send money to her husband who is bedridden with dementia in the Philippines.

The owner of Mercola Market, Dr. Joseph Mercola, has criticized of COVID-19 vaccines and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Responding to the report, Chase told Florida’s Voice Wednesday that the accounts weren’t closed for political “affiliations.”

“For privacy reasons, we can’t discuss customer relationships, but we don’t close accounts because of political affiliations, and we didn’t do so in this case,” they said.

Mercola Market sells specialty beverages, food, supplements and other health items. A store is located in Cape Coral.

On July 13, Mercola Market, along with the CEO, CFO and some of their family members, all received similar letters from Chase Bank saying “[they] have decided to close” their individual personal and business accounts.

The letters obtained by Florida’s Voice did not provide a reason why the accounts were suddenly closed. Florida’s Voice reached out to Chase Bank for a response.

A voicemail from a Chase representative to CEO Steven Rye said the reason for closing his personal and wife’s accounts can’t be disclosed “for legal reasons.”

However, Rye believes his the accounts were suddenly shut down because of Dr. Joseph Mercola’s opinions on COVID-19.

“I believe they cancelled all of the accounts because of Dr. Mercola’s (our employer) opinions,” Rye told Florida’s Voice. “He has carried a contradictory view throughout the COVID narrative and co-authored the best selling book The Truth About COVID-19 which exposed the likelihood that this virus was engineered in a laboratory funded by the NIH.”

Rye said he was told his children would not be able to carry accounts with Chase Bank in the future.

“It’s just hard to believe that your family, your wife, your kids can’t have a bank account because of the opinions of your employer and they’ve never done anything wrong,” Rye said. “We all have completely clear records.”

A voicemail from a Chase Bank representative urged Rye to submit paperwork for their accounts to be reconsidered.

“We are going to try because you’re a good client of our institution,” the Chase representative said in a voicemail.

In an email from Chase to Rye Monday, a representative said he is “still trying to figure out what is going on.”

Amalia Legaspi, the CFO of Mercola Market, said both her personal and her son’s personal accounts were canceled. Her son is using the accounts to pay for college expenses.

“I received the letter during weekend and I was surprised that we received the same letters for business accounts with exact wordings,” Legaspi said.

Legaspi’s joint checking account with her husband, who has dementia and is bedridden in the Philippines, was also closed. She uses the account to send money for his medical needs and said she is not allowed to open another bank account in his name.

“I have to provide all the legal documentations including notarized physicians affidavit from the Philippines to prove that my husband is incapable of handling his finances and request the Federal to directly deposit the pension to my own personal account,” Legaspi said.

With regards to the company’s accounts, she said Chase will not give them a reason for the closure to protect the privacy of their clients.

Dr. Mercola said he published articles about the benefits of vitamin D, zinc and quercetin to boost the immune system. He also published testimony from a nurse who claimed patients were being “intentionally killed on ventilators.”

The FDA also sent a letter to Dr. Mercola telling him to take “immediate action” to address “violations” in the letter regarding supplement products the doctor said would aid in COVID-19, calling them “unapproved new drugs” that are “misbranded.”

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation in May to prohibit financial institutions from denying or canceling services based on political or religious beliefs.

Interesting situation in my neighborhood. About a year ago the city chose a provider for fiber optic installation with option to get service. Their subcontractors tore up yards, the workers didn't speak English and lots of damage was apparently done, including the severing of some internet service to neighbor it seems. Now anon household is interested in reconnecting landline service. Neighborhood is old enough to still have GTE labelled boxes in front yards. A lot of them are busted up, though. First attempt to set up landline service failed as installer couldn't find working cable. Possibly severed when city allowed the mass demolition of our yards in the pursuit of fiber optics. Guitarist-songwriter-singer Robbie Robertson, who led the Canadian-American group the Band to rock prominence in the 1970s and worked extensively with Bob Dylan and Martin Scorsese, has died. He was 80.

Further assume, 70% voted R in IN and 30% D in IN and 50% R in IL and 50% D in IL. Now if you wanted to nudge IL into D camp…. one might digitally move 100 voters from R in IL to IN. You keep them R and you keep them voting, but you shift them to where they will not change the outcome. Moving 100 D's from IN to IL to keep everything in balance… would make it very hard to catch this crime. They didn't change how they voted, just WHERE they voted. A nature drama unfolded in Shoham this week when several dog owners noticed a large black snake lying near the town’s local dog park. The snake was found motionless with an equally motionless porcupine stuck in its mouth.

Ukraine orders evacuation of key city near Kharkov

The move comes following reports that Russian troops are advancing in the area

 

Ukrainian authorities have announced a mandatory evacuation in part of Kharkov Region bordering Russia’s Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The order comes after the Defense Ministry in Moscow said its troops had made headway in the area.

 

In a written order on Thursday, Andrey Kanashevich, acting head of the Kupyansk military administration, published a list of 37 settlements near the combat zone that were to be evacuated by local residents. He cited “constant [Russian] artillery attacks and the security situation” as the reason for the decision, adding that the order also applies to the city of Kupyansk itself.

 

The directive came as the Russian Defense Ministry said that its assault units had “improved their forward positions while conducting offensive actions.” Russian Telegram channel Voyennaya Chronica reported that Russian troops were only seven kilometers away from Kupyansk, with the city itself now within artillery range.

 

Kupyansk was captured by Russian troops shortly after the start of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022, but Kiev retook it last autumn when Moscow announced the regrouping of its forces in the area in a bid to concentrate on the liberation of Donbass.

 

The city, which is located some 116km from Kharkov and divided in two by the Oskol River, is home to a major railway station crucial for supplying troops deployed south of the city. Russian military experts have also said thatshould Moscow take control of Kupyansk, it would help thwart any Ukrainian attacks on the Lugansk People’s Republic.

 

The evacuation order and reports of Russian advances come as a much-hyped Ukrainian counteroffensive drags on. Kiev’s attacks have so far failed to gain any ground, according to Moscow. Last week, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu estimated Ukrainian losses since the start of the push in early June at more than 43,000 troops and nearly 5,000 pieces of military equipment.

Scientist admits the ‘overwhelming consensus’ on the climate change crisis is ‘manufactured’

We are told climate change is a crisis, and that there is an “overwhelming scientific consensus.”

 

“It’s a manufactured consensus,” climate scientist Judith Curry tells me.

She says scientists have an incentive to exaggerate risk to pursue “fame and fortune.”

 

She knows about that because she once spread alarm about climate change.

 

The media loved her when she published a study that seemed to show a dramatic increase in hurricane intensity.

 

“We found that the percent of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes had doubled,” says Curry.

This was picked up by the media,” and then climate alarmists realized, “Oh, here is the way to do it. Tie extreme weather events to global warming!”

 

“So, this hysteria is your fault!” I tell her.

 

“Not really,” she smiles.

 

“They would have picked up on it anyways.”

But Curry’s “more intense” hurricanes gave them fuel.

 

“I was adopted by the environmental advocacy groups and the alarmists and I was treated like a rock star,” Curry recounts.

 

“Flown all over the place to meet with politicians.”

But then some researchers pointed out gaps in her research — years with low levels of hurricanes.

 

“Like a good scientist, I investigated,” says Curry.

 

She realized that the critics were right.

 

“Part of it was bad data. Part of it is natural climate variability.”

Curry was the unusual researcher who looked at criticism of her work and actually concluded: “They had a point.”

 

Then the Climategate scandal taught her that other climate researchers weren’t so open-minded.

Alarmist scientists’ aggressive attempts to hide data suggesting climate change is not a crisis were revealed in leaked emails.

 

“Ugly things,” says Curry.

It made Curry realize that there is a “climate-change industry” set up to reward alarmism.

 

“The origins go back to the . . . UN environmental program,” says Curry.

 

Some United Nations officials were motivated by “anti-capitalism. They hated the oil companies and seized on the climate change issue to move their policies along.”

 

The UN created the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

The IPCC wasn’t supposed to focus on any benefits of warming. The IPCC’s mandate was to look for dangerous human-caused climate change.”

 

“Then the national funding agencies directed all the funding . . . assuming there are dangerous impacts.”

 

The researchers quickly figured out that the way to get funded was to make alarmist claims about “man-made climate change.”

 

This is how “manufactured consensus” happens

Even if a skeptic did get funding, it’s harder to publish because journal editors are alarmists.

“The editor of the journal Science wrote this political rant,” says Curry.

 

She even said, “The time for debate has ended.

Then she answers her own question: “Promote the alarming papers! Don’t even send the other ones out for review. If you wanted to advance in your career, like be at a prestigious university and get a big salary, have big laboratory space, get lots of grant funding, be director of an institute, there was clearly one path to go.”

 

That’s what we’ve got now: a massive government-funded climate alarmism complex.

NATO state to place 10,000 troops on border of Russian ally – minister

Poland is moving its army forces to scare Belarus, defense chief Mariusz Blaszczak has said

 

Poland is set to deploy thousands of additional troops to its border with Belarus amid heightened tensions in the region, Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said on Thursday.

 

Speaking to Polskie Radio, Blaszczak stated that “we are moving the army closer to the border with Belarus” in order to “scare the aggressor so that he does not dare to attack us.” The minister added that security in the region would be underpinned by 10,000 soldiers, with 4,000 assigned to directly support the Border Guard, and another 6,000 held in reserve.

 

The official’s remarks come shortly after the Polish Defense Ministry approved a request by border officials to send in an additional 1,000 soldiers to the area. Later, the Polish authorities changed their mind, deciding to increase the number to 2,000.

 

Blaszczak also lashed out at Minsk, repeating accusations that two Belarusian helicopters violated Polish airspace last week, calling the alleged incident “another provocation.” Minsk has denied the accusations, saying it had provided Warsaw with “detailed data” on the matter.

 

“Everything that is happening in Belarus is coordinated with the actions of Russia,”Blaszczak stated,without providing any evidence.

 

In recent weeks, Polish officials have also sounded the alarm over alleged attempts by migrants to illegally cross the Belarusian border, as well as alleged efforts by operatives working for the Russian defense contractor Wagner Group to infiltrate the country.

 

Numerous Wagner fighters moved to Belarus after a short-lived mutiny attempt in Russia, with some of them now involved in the training of Minsk’s troops.

 

Blaszczak’s comments also come after Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced on Wednesday that Moscow would bolster its troops on its western borders amid a stand-off over the Ukraine conflict. In his speech, he described Poland as a “key instrument of anti-Russia policies of the US.”He also claimed that Warsaw is actively trying to build up “the most powerful army” in Europe, which, according to Polish officials, now numbers around 170,000 service members.

West ‘accepts’ Ukrainian corruption – Kiev

The US has admitted it can’t keep track of all the money sent to Ukraine due to endemic malpractice and a lack of accountability

 

Ukraine’s Western backers are willing to accept that it will take time to clear up corruption in the country, Finance Minister Sergey Marchenko told Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) on Wednesday. He claimed that corruption in Ukraine is at its lowest level in two decades and has fallen “completely under public monitoring.” (Yeah right!)

 

Asked by the state-funded US outlet how he had reached conclusion, Marchenko insisted that itcame from “experience,” a “gut feeling,”and a “certain understanding of numbers.” (This guy is retarded.)

 

He admitted, however, that corruption still exists in Ukraine and that scandals continue to lead to pressure from international organizations. The minister added that while anti-corruption agencies and public organizations are delivering results, they often come after lengthy processes.

 

Nevertheless, Kiev’s Western partners “understand” that cleaning up the system of power in Ukraine cannot happen overnight, Marchenko insisted.

 

“[Ukraine’s partners] are ready to accept that we may have corruption,” said the minister, noting that corruption has taken on new forms due to the conflict with Russia.

 

Commenting on numerous reports about wrongdoing in the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Marchenko acknowledged that “there are questions forall sectors, including the defense sector, unfortunately.”

 

Last week, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky publicly denounced the corruption and “numerous abuses” that had been uncovered by an audit of military recruitment centers. Investigators found that some facilities were charging an average of $6,000 to certify that potential recruits were unfit to serve.

 

Meanwhile, the US has also raised concerns over rampant corruption in Ukraine. Last month, the State Department’s Office of the Inspector General admitted that it struggled to track the billions of dollars Washington has sent to Kiev since February 2022, due to “corruption in the Ukrainian government and private sector.”

 

Ukraine consistently ranks among the most corrupt countries in the world. The so-called Pandora Papers obtained by the International Association of Investigative Journalists in 2021 revealed that despite Zelensky’s public anti-corruption stance,he and his business partners had a network of offshore companies which they used to buy lavish properties in central London.

 

Although Zelensky transferred his stake in one of the companies to an aide just before he was elected president in 2019, the documents showedthat dividends from the business are still being paid to his wife. The Ukrainian leader’s critics have also accused him and his associates of continuing to use offshore accounts to evade taxes.

Zelensky pledges to purge his own MPs

The “old habits” of crooked officials have weakened the country for decades, the Ukrainian president has said

 

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has signaled that he is about to embark on a crusade against the nation’s corrupt lawmakers and officials after a string of graft scandals.

 

In a Tuesday video address, Zelensky said that he wanted to “cleanse” Ukraine, which he said needs to undergo a transformation. “This means that those who work for their own benefit, not for the sake of Ukraine, will not hold public office or be Ukrainian MPs,” he stated, adding that “any such dealmakerwill at least stand trial.”

 

The Ukrainian president also raised the issue of corruption last week when he vowed to continue efforts to kick officials out of public institutions who “tried to drag from the past old habits, old schemes that have weakened Ukraine… for decades.”

 

“No matter, who this person is – whether he is a ‘military commissar’, a deputy, or an official – everyone must work only for the sake of the state,” Zelensky stressed, saying efforts toward that end would begin as early as this month.

 

By mentioning commissars, the Ukrainian leader was apparently alluding to a recent controversy in which authorities conducted raids in 11 Ukrainian regions and uncovered a massive conspiracy scheme that allegedly focused on issuing fraudulent medical certificates at the price of around $6,000 to those seeking to avoid conscription.

 

The searches came after Ukrainian law enforcement agents arrested Evgeny Borisov, a former senior conscription officer in Odessa Region, who has been accused of illicit enrichment to the tune of millions of dollars.

 

Ukraine has been plagued by rampant corruption for years despite repeated efforts by the country’s authorities to combat it. According to Transparency International’s Corruption Perception index, as of 2022, the country ranked 116th out of 180. Meanwhile, a poll by Center for Insights in Survey Research conducted in 2021, before the start of hostilities between Moscow and Kiev, found that Ukrainians considered graft in state institutions to be the most pressing problem facing the country.

 

The issue is also a concern for Western nations furnishing economic and military aid to Kiev. In late July, the US State Department released a report saying that “corruption in the Ukrainian government and private sector poses risks to the effectiveness of US foreign assistance over the longer run.”

Ukraine reports to US on cluster munitions use – CNN

The controversial weapons have been involved in attacks on civilians in Donbass and on Russian journalists, according to Moscow

 

Ukraine has submitted its first report to Washington on its use of cluster munitions against Russia, CNN reported on Wednesday, citing sources. Russia has accused Kiev of targeting civilians with the weapons, which are banned in more than 100 countries.

 

According to an unnamed Ukrainian official interviewed by the network, the document sent to the Pentagon included data on the number of rounds fired and targets it claims to have destroyed. The CNN source, however,declined to provide any specific figures or other details.

 

US President Joe Biden in early July approved delivery of the controversial munitions to Ukraine. At the time, he described the move as a stopgap measure, as both Kiev and its Western backers were running short of regular shells. The decision, however, prompted a backlash from many US allies, including the UK, Canada, and Spain. Moscow has also condemned the move, with Russian President Vladimir Putin describing it as a potential “crime.”

 

The devices are widely banned because when they explode, they release a large number of bomblets across a wide area which often fail to detonate, thus posing a serious threat to civilians for years after the fighting is over.

Massive factory blast in Moscow Region caught on VIDEO

The explosion left 60 people injured, with eight still missing, local authorities have reported

 

New footage has surfaced online showing the very moment a factory in Moscow Region was rocked by a powerful blast.

 

Published by Russia’s Mash news outlet, the video – which was taken from inside a moving vehicle – shows a fireball and a plume of smoke rising above the nearby buildings just seconds before the car itself is hit by a massive blast wave, damaging its windscreen. The vehicle is then pelted with debris moments later. A driver and a passenger inside appear to be unharmed.

 

The explosion occurred at the Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant in the town of Sergiyev Posad, outside of Moscow. According to its website, the factory designs and produces optical and electronic equipment.

 

Dmitry Akulov, a local administration head, told the Russian media on Wednesday evening that 60 people had been injured in the blast. Eight people are still missing, he said, adding that a debris clearing operation is still underway at the blast site.

 

Earlier, Russian news outlets reported that almost 40 apartment blocks had been damaged by the explosion and local authorities confirmed receiving a total of 235 complaints from residents.

 

Andrey Vorobyov, Moscow Region’s governor, said earlier that 43 people had been taken to a local hospital after the blast of which six were being treated in intensive care. A female factory employee later succumbed to her injuries, according to the local administration.

 

Authorities have not yet made official comments on the potential reasons for the blast. A source in theemergency services told RIA Novosti that the explosion had taken place due to a violation of technical procedures.
