This is why I always buy wholesale beef from my local farmers market. Much cheaper when you buy a quarter or half cow worth of beef than buying it in the stores per pound! Stores typically jack up the price artificially, most farmers do not. Costs me around $1, 400 total to buy bulk half cow processed and delivered to my door. That's two year supply for two people, one years supply for a family of four.
