Bees.
Short story from yesterday: anon communicated with one.
Anon had a bee get into the office, likely through window the noisy AC is in.
Cat and anon watched it dance on the ceiling.
Told it (some words, some thoughts) anon has no intention of harming you, want to take you back outdoors.
Looked around for something to contain it, chose two differently-sized cups so when one's inside the other there's plenty of space.
Then bee was gone for a while.
Few hours later, saw it on the desk, to anon's left.
Again thought at it, want to help you.
Here's the awesome/comms part: it jumped up, flew to anon's right, bumped into anon's outstretched right arm (hand was on mouse), backed up a few inches, then continued on in that direction.
Haven't seen it since.
