It stand for continuing resolution. It’s a stop gap measure that Congress has been using when they don’t have a budget passed. They have been using it for years, abusing the system and playing us for dummies. It’s what they use when they don’t have a budget to keep the govt up and running so they agree to a temp resolution so the government won’t ‘shut down’.
