I don't know how Trump could have dealt with this much better than he did. I did see what happened when he spoke of HCQ and such.
He wanted someone, Paul Alexander, as I recall to go over to HHS. Over at HHS "they" told Paul Alexander that they didn't listen to the Trump WH.
Personally I think Big Pharma was "offered a deal". It was kinda like China was "offered a deal". They reneged (rejected) and I think Big Pharma will not exist soon.
