During the Impeachment Trial break, it was disclosed that on the Motion for a Directed Verdict of Not Guilty filed AFTER the House Managers Rested their Case, Ken Paxton ALREADY HAS SIX OF THE TEN VOTES needed for ACQUITTAL.
This was the vote count BEFORE Paxton’s attorneys presented ANY rebuttal evidence. This may be the reason why Ken Paxton and Tony Buzbee have been sitting together and laughing while the Texas Senate deliberates on the evidence.
