Trump Is Scheduled For Two More Major Events In Iowa: ā€˜We Love Iowaā€™

President Donald Trump is set to visit and deliver remarks in the state of Iowa at two major events next week.

After crowds gathered last weekend to see the 45th president attending the Iowa vs. Iowa State college football game, Trump is now scheduled to speak at two events in the Hawkeye State on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

ā€œWe love Iowa, we just left South Dakota last night, it was an amazing evening. We got a wonderful endorsement, as you know, from the governor. Weā€™re here and this reception has been incredible,ā€ Trump said last weekend at the football game.

Trump will first be visiting Maquoketa, Iowa, on Sept. 20 to deliver remarks to a Team Trump Iowa Commit to Caucus. Doors will open for a kick-off commencement at 10 a.m. CT, with Trump set to speak at 1 p.m. local time.

The 45th president will then make his way to a second event in Dubuque, Iowa, where he is scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. CT.

It is no surprise that the former president is bringing in crowds, as he currently dominates in both 2024 primary and general election poll predictions. In fact, according to FiveThirtyEight, a recent data collection for the state polls shows Trump holding as large as a 35-point lead in the primary elections and a 13-point lead in the 2024 general election.

Trump Sees Unprecedented Support In Texas

With next yearā€™s primary election around the corner, President Trumpā€™s polling margins against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis continue to grow to unprecedented levels: this time in the Lone Star State.

According to CWS Researchā€™s latest poll of 406 Likely Voters, Trump led a group of nine primary opponents by 51 points in Texas, carrying 61 percent support.

Meanwhile, DeSantis placed second to the 45th president with 10 points, a 26-point drop in his support from December.

In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and DeSantis, the 45th president led the governor by 38 points (62 percent to 24 percent).

ā€¢ DeSantis ā€” 36%

February:

ā€¢ Trump ā€” 42% (+15)

ā€¢ DeSantis ā€” 27%

June:

ā€¢ DeSantis ā€” 19%

Other Republicans covered in the survey included former S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley (five percent), former Vice President Mike Pence (five percent), businessman Vivek Ramaswamy (three percent), former Texas Rep. Will Hurd, and former N.J. Gov. Chris Christie (two percent).

Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, S.C. Sen. Tim Scott, and N.D. Gov. Doug Burgum received one percent support or less, according to the survey.

Trumpā€™s support among Texas GOP voters has almost doubled since December 2022. What initially appeared to be a tight race between Trump and DeSantis has seemingly divulged into a one-man primary.

From December 2022, Trumpā€™s lead in the Lone Star State jumped from one point over DeSantis to 14 points in February. From February to June, his lead skyrocketed to 32 points over the governor.

His support among primary voters has also not faltered amid his four political indictments. In fact, his polling leads have grown substantially after each of his indictments.

From the beginning of Trumpā€™s third indictment to the end of his fourth, his lead increased to 51 points in Texas. Further, 79 percent of the Texas Republicans surveyed said that Trump should be found ā€œnot guiltyā€ for the reported crimes he is accused of.

A victory in Texas will be a huge prize to its winner in 2024. The state holds 162 delegates, the second-highest amount of delegates up for grabs in any one state.

The delegates will be awarded on a winner-take-most basis and will be awarded to candidates proportionally based on their earned percentage of support.

The Texas GOP primary will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Nolte: Donald Trump Tops Joe Biden in RealClearPolitics Poll of Polls

Former President Donald Trump now leads His Fraudulency Joe Biden in the RealClearPolitics poll that averages all the most recent national polls.

Currently, the former president enjoys 44.8 support to Joe Bidenā€™s 44.4 percent.

This is notable for one important reasonā€¦ Not once during the 2020 presidential election cycle did Trump lead Biden nationally. Not for a single day. But in the 2024 election cycle, Trump has consistently led or been nipping at Bidenā€™s heels since early April.

So far this year, Bidenā€™s biggest lead over Trump in this poll of polls has been only two pointsā€”which lasted a very short time. Trump has led Biden by as much as 2.5 points.

Moreover, during the 2020 cycle, Biden never dipped below a four-point lead over his GOP rival. In fact, there were times he trounced Trump by double digits. Then, on Election Day 2020, Biden led Trump by a national average of 7.2 points and allegedly beat Trump by 4.5 points.

Back in 2020, in the dozens and dozens of national polls done between February and Election Day, Trump led Biden in exactly one poll, and only by a single point.

In this 2024 cycle, Trump has topped Biden in five of the last 12 national polls.

This clear change of fortune removes one of the primary arguments against Trump running for reelectionā€”that he canā€™t win. Currently, the establishment GOPā€™s great hope is Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). But DeSantis is losing to Biden by a national average of 3.8 points. In the last 12 national polls, DeSantis has not topped Biden even once. The Florida governorā€™s best showing was a single poll that showed him tied with Slow Joe.

There is just no question that, at least for now, Trump is in a much better position than DeSantis to beat Biden. Additionally, Trump is in a much better position than he was himself in 2020 to beat Biden.

Also, and this is equally important, Trump lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by 2.1 points in 2016 and still won the presidency.

Finally, while Trump allegedly lost to Biden in 2020, do not forget thisā€¦. the former president won 74.2 million votes in 2020. Thatā€™s seven million more than the previous record, Barry Obamaā€™s 65.9 million votes in 2012. Thatā€™s 13.6 million more than Mitt Romeyā€™s 60.9 million in 2012. Thatā€™s 14 million more than John McCainā€™s 59.9 million in 2008.

Name a single Republican who could win seven million more votes than Barry Obama like Trump did.

Whatā€™s changed regarding a rematch with Biden is obvious. On top of being too frail to serve lunch, much less as president, everything is worse under Bidenā€”foreign policy, energy costs, child mutilation, destruction of womenā€™s sports, inflation, interest rates, the wide-open border, crimeā€¦ Iā€™m missing a few, but you get the point.

Hey, but at least there are no mean tweets.
