People talk about how the storm was steered away from NY or suddenly veered away. Anon doesn't buy it because you almost always see that kind of stuff with Hurricanes in the north Atlantic. They never go west. Or if they do they always turn north pretty quick. Nope what anon sees there is a great way for a submarine to get into firing position submerged and undetected. And possibly get away after firing in much the same way. Although the storms do pick up speed. So they might not have been able to catch back up with it.

that would make it much easier for a submarine to get back under it in order to make a clean get away. but the storms also pick up speed in terms of forward motion. at some point a submerged sub couldn't keep up. might not need to at that point though.
