Fifty-seven percent of voters believe Hunter Biden should be indicted for influence peddling, while only 14 percent say he should not, a Yahoo/YouGov poll released Wednesday found.
Although Special Counsel David Weiss brought three gun-related charges against Hunter Biden last week, a majority of voters say Hunter Biden should be indicted on additional charges.
The poll asked voters, “Federal prosecutors are also reportedly investigating Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals, which have drawn accusations of influence peddling. Do you think Hunter Biden should be indicted for such deals?”
Fifty-seven percent of independents, 87 percent of Republicans, and 29 percent of Democrats think Hunter Biden should be indicted for influence peddling.
Only 15 percent of voters are unsure, including 34 percent of independents, ten percent of Republicans, and 45 percent of Democrats.
Broken down by education, 54 percent of those who have a high school education or less, 56 percent of those who attended some college, and 54 percent of college or post-college graduates say Hunter Biden should be indicted.
The poll sampled 1,636 adults from September 14-18, 2023, with a ± 2.7 percent margin of error.
The House Oversight Committee released an official timeline in July that detailed key dates of Biden family influence peddling. The timeline’s scope includes four main points of business ventures in Romania, China, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
The committee’s investigation of the Bidens could ultimately reveal the family business raked in as much as $50 million, $30 million more than currently found, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) believes.
“I do think it’s realistic,” said House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) on Wednesday about the $50 million total. “We believe that this was a very organized crime ring because of the way the money was disbursed through LLCs and the shell companies and the way the money was disbursed through the various Biden members.”
“Joe Biden was very involved in this,” Comer added. “He knew what the family was doing.”
Joe Biden lied about his involvement in the family business, sparking an impeachment inquiry. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-KY) said last week, “Through our investigations, we have found that President Biden did lie to American people about his own knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings.”

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Capitol Hill this week, Democratic Congresswoman Pramilla Jayapal pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland about how he plans to force religious hospitals to conduct abortions for "pregnant people."
"My home state of Washington has one of the highest rates of religiously affiliated hospitals in the country…in 2021 there were several counties lacking even one secular hospital. This is an issue under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act when patients in need of abortion care as a lifesaving treatment are denied services under the hospital's policies," Jayapal detailed, adding she had an abortion. "What is the Department doing to enforce this law?Mandating that every hospital that receives Medicare funds provide 'necessary stabalizing treatment,' including abortion care?"
Garland responded with, "You're right."
"We're looking at where it would be appropriate to intervene," he added.
In other words, they want to force religious doctors to conduct life ending abortions.
Meanwhile, Garland's DOJ has filed an unprecedented number of charges against pro-life activists peacefully protesting at abortion clinics. Just this week, lengthy prison sentences were issued for elderly women who were charged with violating the FACE act.

Trump Minority Support Higher Than Any Republican In 50 Years
The battle between former President Trump and the cabal of desperate Democrats trying everything in their power to hurt him politically, only to have it have the opposite result, conjures up the image of pasty liberals sitting in the dark beside a cauldron of witches brew exclaiming, “Curses… foiled again!”
According to an analysis in The Washington Post, Trump is smashing the numbers of any former Republican when it comes to his approval ratings with the black and Hispanic community.
Five polls in recent weeks show Trump averaging 20 percent approval among black voters and 42 percent approval among Hispanic voters, according to the Post.
Results like that should have the Democratic National Committee — as well as its media allies — in full panic mode.
“Both numbers — and especially that for Black voters — could set modern-day records for a Republican in a presidential election,” the Post’s Aaron Blake wrote. “Trump in 2020 took just 8 percent of Black voters and 36 percent of Hispanic voters, according to the Pew Research Center’s validated voter survey. Exit polls pegged those figures at 12 percent of Black voters and 32 percent of Hispanic voters.”
A recent New York Times/Siena College poll national poll indicates that President Joe Biden is severely underperforming among nonwhite voters, especially compared to his support in the 2020 election.
On average, Biden leads Donald Trump by 53 percent to 28 percent among registered nonwhite voters in polls from 2022 and 2023. Biden was supported by 70 percent support of nonwhite voters in 2020, according to the Times.
Nate Cohn, the Times’s chief political analyst, pointed out an interesting trend in The Tilt, a Times newsletter:
“Democrats have lost ground among nonwhite voters in almost every election over the last decade, even as racially charged fights over everything from a border wall to kneeling during the national anthem might have been expected to produce the exact opposite result,” Cohn wrote.
