Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed a bill Wednesday requiring public school districts in Illinois to establish full-day kindergarten by the 2027-28 school year, the first of many education bills expected to be greenlighted in the coming weeks.

It is their way of chipping away at a parent's responsibilities.
Don't worry about what your kids are going to eat, the "government" will take care of them.
If the "government" had their way, they would take the kid away from the mom the day it was born and put them into a government facility never to be seen by the parent again.
It is a shame that the government is using kids as political pawns.
