Hobbs apparently took a quick trip out of the Country and turned the Governor office over to a Republican. The only top official that won her seat legit. No top Dem meets Joe on the tarmac.

NYAdams won't meet with Joe

FLDe Santis won't meet with Joe

NVLombardo won't meet with Joe

AZHobbs won't meet with Joe

Why didn't Hobbs follow the Line of Succession? Fontes should have taken over and if he couldn't then it is AG Mayes.

No Governors seem to be meeting him on the tarmac but Mayors instead are doing it

That looks like a handy excuse in this situation with AZ. Fontes and Mayes also stepped down for the night. That's what makes this so unusual. The voluntarily left it to a Republican who is refusing to allow her to add deputy directors to a meeting. Risky move to allow an uncooperative Republican to take office even for a minute
