It's a big deal. Epic has NEVER laid off employees before. They invested a billion into the metaverse and it's turning out to be a shitshow.

 

On top of that there's bad press to Fortnite for swindling kids out of money for purchases that aren't clear and the apple lawsuit ain't looking too hot.
