I'm sure you'd be wrong! Much recent scholarship about America's founding, the Revolution and the periods since bring much clarity to how much the war was an economic struggle, not just about civil liberties.

Two well researched books by Patrick O'Donnell, Washingtons Immortals and The Indispensibles shed much light on the fact that the military defeat of the British was dwarfed by their economic victory, financing both sides of the Revolution, at interest. Remember, the Rothschilds The Redcoats were their kneecappers until America was passed that crown after WWII and we became the purveyors of "Endless Wars" for the banking oligarchs. Ukraine is just the latest.
