The Discordian or Erisian calendar is an alternative calendar used by some adherents of Discordianism. It is specified on page 00034 of the Principia Discordia.[1]: 00034
The Discordian year 1 YOLD is 1166 BC. (Elsewhere in the Principia Discordia, it is mentioned that the Curse of Greyface occurred in 1166 BC.[1]: 00042 As a reference, AD 2023 is 3189 YOLD (Year of Our Lady of Discord). The abbreviation "YOLD" is not used in the Principia, though the phrase "Year of Our Lady of Discord" is mentioned once.[1]: 00053
As described in the Principia Discordia, the Discordian calendar has five 73-day seasons: Chaos, Discord, Confusion, Bureaucracy, and The Aftermath. The Discordian year is aligned with the Gregorian calendar and begins on January 1, thus Chaos 1, 3189 YOLD is January 1, 2023 Gregorian.
The Erisian week consists of five days: Sweetmorn, Boomtime, Pungenday, Prickle-Prickle, and Setting Orange. The days of the week are named after the five basic Discordian elements: Sweet, Boom, Pungent, Prickle, and Orange. There are 73 of these weeks per year and every year begins with Sweetmorn.
Every fourth year in the Discordian calendar, starting in 2 YOLD, an extra day is inserted between Chaos 59 and Chaos 60 called St. Tib's Day. This is because 4 years + 1 day = 5, a holy number, but the Discordian leap year also coincides with the Gregorian one. The result of this is that any given day of the year in the Discordian calendar may be taken to correspond to the same day of the year in the Gregorian calendar, and vice versa, although some users of the calendar believe that it is tied to the Julian calendar and so will diverge from the Gregorian in 3266 YOLD (AD 2100). St. Tib's Day is considered outside the Discordian week.
There are Apostle Holydays on the 5th day of each season, named after the 5 Discordian apostles: Mungday, for Hung Mung; Mojoday, for Dr. Van Van Mojo; Syaday, for Sri Syadasti; Zaraday, for Zarathud; and Maladay, for Malaclypse the Elder. There are also Season Holydays on the 50th of each season: Chaoflux, Discoflux, Confuflux, Bureflux, and Afflux.

SDA announced October 5 two contract awards for the first generation of the Tracking Layer. These awards represent the next major and highly visible steps toward developing the National Defense Space Architecture’s inaugural tranche (called Tranche 0). Once fully operational, the SDA Tracking Layer will consist of a proliferated heterogeneous constellation of Wide Field of View (WFOV) space vehicles (SVs) that provide persistent global coverage and custody capability combined with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Hypersonic and Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS) Medium Field of View (MFOV) SVs that provide precision global access capability. This set of contract awards will initiate the development of the first eight low-cost proliferated WFOV SVs. The capability demonstrated by the Tracking Layer Tranche 0 will provide missile warning and tracking information to national defense authorities, and tracking and cueing data for missile defense elements.

Friends Reunion 2021
As if we didn’t already have proof that nature was healing in the wake of the last year, the first trailer for the “Friends” reunion special coming to HBO Max just solidified it.
The recent WarnerMedia upfront presentation gave advertisers a glimpse at what was going to happen when our favorite NBC characters reunited, but it was just a taste of the friendship, laughter, and tears that make up this trailer. The entire series cast, comprised of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry are present and accounted for in the trailer, which can be seen below.
With James Corden acting as master of ceremonies, the “Friends” reunion special looks to recreate specific moments from the series’ history, bring back guest stars — and they even have a fashion show. The show will also see the cast reminisce about working together, as well as their specific memories of being part of the cultural juggernaut that was “Friends.”

The idea of a reunion started just a few short years after the series concluded in 2004. Back in February o2020, when the series was celebrating its 25th anniversary, WarnerMedia announced an unscripted reunion special. At the time it was reported that the total spent on talent for the reunion special, Deadline reported, could be $20 million.

“Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library,” said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer, HBO Max and president, TBS, TNT, and truTV, in a statement last year.
When the pandemic hit, the question then became how it would affect the recording of the reunion special. Last April it was confirmed that the special was delayed, with no specific timeframe, but it would miss the launch of HBO Max. As the year passed, the special was filmed and it is now set to wow fans on May 27. (And, in case you want to revisit the series and catch up you can stream all 10 seasons over on HBO Max. The sitcom is one of HBO Max’s most notable library gets and reportedly cost WarnerMedia $425 million.)
The “Friends” reunion special will be directed by Ben Winston, who will also executive produce alongside “Friends” creators Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane. The cast will also serve as executive producers.

The Jewish series of the Historical Archive of the Secretariat of State , Section for Relations with States and International Organizations (ASRS), is part of the Congregation for Extraordinary Ecclesiastical Affairs Fund (AA.EE.SS.), relating to the pontificate of Pius XII – part I (1939-1948).
It stands out from the other series of the Fund for not having been classified with the name of a geopolitical entity with which the Holy See establishes and develops diplomatic relations. In fact, it collects requests for help sent by Jews, baptized and otherwise, to Pope Pius XII from all over Europe, after the start of the Nazi-fascist persecutions.
Each petition became a file (or dossier) in the name of the primary applicant(s) and was meant for preservation with the archival classification “Ebrei” (Jews). These files were placed in alphabetical order according to the surname in the header, inside a heavier paper folder marked with the corresponding letter of the alphabet.
The petitions, which are sometimes submitted by a mediator, could be for obtaining visas or passports for expatriation, asylum, reunification with a family member, release from detention, transfers from one concentration camp to another, news about a deported person, food or clothing, financial support, and spiritual support, among other things. Unfortunately, as can be seen from documentation, many requests could not be accepted due to various types of problems. Other times, the recovery has been successful, but in most cases the outcome remains unknown.
Various dossiers, including requests for assistance from Jews, can still be found in other series of the Congregazione degli Affari Ecclesiastici Straordinari Collection's archival records. Following the creation of the “Ebrei” series, certain dossiers were extrapolated from the original series and included in the latter, as shown by the previous archival classification, written in pen in the bottom inner corner of the original folder's back, which has been crossed out and replaced in some instances by the classification “Ebrei”. However, numerous of these documents are still preserved in their original archival series (e.g., in Italia, Pos. 1054 and Stati Ecclesiastici, Pos. 575).
