Shani Louk, 23-year-old kidnapped by Hamas from music festival, found dead, Israel says

A 23-year-old German-Israeli woman who was kidnapped from the Nova music festival by Hamas militants on October 7 has been found dead, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said.

“We are devastated to share that the body of 23 year old German-Israeli Shani (Louk) was found and identified,” the ministry posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday.

Louk was attending the festival in southern Israel on October 7 when Hamas breached the border between Gaza and Israel.

Louk was kidnapped at the festival and “tortured and paraded around Gaza by Hamas terrorists,” the foreign ministry statement said, adding that she “experienced unfathomable horrors.”

“May her memory be a blessing,” the statement said.

Militants blocked off the road to the festival from the north and the south during their October 7 attack, before swarming the sprawling site on foot, videos from the site showed.

They then encircled the crowds on three sides, gunning them down and forcing them to flee over fields to the east.

Ricarda Louk, Shani’s mother, told CNN earlier this month that she last spoke to her daughter after hearing rockets and alarms sounding in southern Israel, calling to see if she’d made it to a secure location. Shani told her mother she was at the festival with few places to hide.

“She was going to her car and they had military people standing by the cars and were shooting so people couldn’t reach their cars, even to go away. And that’s when they took her,” Ricarda told CNN, adding that she hoped to see her daughter again, but that the situation appeared bleak.

“It looks very bad, but I still have hope. I hope that they don’t take bodies for negotiations. I hope that she’s still alive somewhere. We don’t have anything else to hope for, so I try to believe,” she said.

More than 260 bodies were found at the Nova festival site itself, according to Israeli rescue service Zaka but, based on CNN’s analysis, the total death toll could be even higher.

>What's really under Gaza

The myriad tunnels under Gaza are best known as passageways used to smuggle goods from Egypt and launch attacks into Israel. But there exists a second underground network that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) colloquially refer to as the “Gaza metro.”

==Supreme Court Built to Masonic Guidelines?

Article in Maariv points to Eye of Providence, pyramids, Rothschilds' involvement as tell-tale signs.==

Chomsky says that the evidence of Masonic intervention in the building's planning is hard to deny. Right at the entrance to the building, she notes, the sign thanking the donors whose funding made its construction possible features the “Eye of Providence” – a well-known Masonic symbol that represent's G-d's all-seeing eye, which also appears on the U.S. Dollar bill.

Chomsky cites evidence that has been put forth by an amateur historian, Elad Pressman, in a website – Conspil.com – devoted to conspiracy theories. Pressman, 27, is a student of philosophy and mathematics.

According to Pressman, the building is full of Masonic imagery, and the tours conducted through it are held in accordance with Masonic principles.

Chomsky notes that the Freemasons exist as a recognized organization in Israel and that people who want to join them can do so. A study by Yuval Kaspi and Lilach-Shira Gavish has established that large parts of Tel Aviv were built by people who belonged to the Freemasons and other secret groups with names like Bnei Moshe, Bnei Brit (no connection to the better known B'nai Brith) and Bnei Tzion – which were established by former Freemasons and imitated Masonic ideology, with an added Jewish angle.

The Supreme Court building in Jerusalem, notes Chomsky, was built in 1992, with funding that had been offered by the Yad Hanadiv foundation. Many members of the Rothschild family, which owns Yad Hanadiv, were proud members of the Freemasons, she says.

From a Chanel-Themed Sex Room to 26 Disco Balls, Designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard Reveals His Wildest Requests

There’s been a lot of crazy stories along the way,” Bullard teased of his new book, which features the homes of Cher, Elton John, Ellen Pompeo and more

After 30 years designing A-listers' homes, Martyn Lawrence Bullard has encountered his fair share of unusual and over-the-top requests.

In an interview with PEOPLE about his forthcoming book Star Style: Interiors of Martyn Lawrence Bullard (out Nov. 7), which features many of the celebrity houses in his portfolio — Cher, Elton John, Ellen Pompeo, Kylie Jenner, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian — the acclaimed interior designer opened up about some of his “crazy stories along the way.”

“A lot of my clients are not going to want 26 disco balls in their living room,” Bullard jokes, “but RuPaul loved it.”

And the glittering installation was hardly the only unique feat he tackled for the drag icon’s Los Angeles mansion.

He continued, “A lot of clients are not going to want to remove six bedrooms at their house to make a 5,000-square-foot closet to house 3,000 ball gowns, but RuPaul wanted to do that." Lawrence adds that he “removed three bedrooms for Khloé Kardashian as well to make her a closet.”

“There are a lot of moments, certainly within celebrity design, that end up being extraordinary things that other people wouldn’t necessarily have in their home, but that’s what makes it exciting,” Bullard, whose work has regularly been featured in the pages of Architectural Digest and Elle Decor, explains.

Bullard also shared a few of his more non-traditional projects.

“Somebody asked us once to come, sort of, blow up their living room and put a giant swimming pool in the middle of it so that they could watch their kids play when they were watching TV,” Bullard recalls before pointing out a recent trend among his high-profile clients.

“Many clients as of late have asked to have sex rooms, so we’re creating very luxurious, very glamorous and very wild sex rooms,” he tells PEOPLE. “One of which was designed to look like a black quilted-leather Chanel handbag.”

Bullard’s career began 30 years ago with his “first ever real project” for Cheryl Tiegs. At the time, he didn’t even have a portfolio when she hired him.

“I was hired off the back of a feeling,” he says, adding that, "From her, it immediately went into a whole bunch of other celebrities.”

Bullard’s current status among his star clients has kept the high profile decorator busy.

In addition to TV and movie stars, he's also completed stunning retreats for fashion players like Tommy Hilfiger, Winnie Harlow and Alessandra Ambrosio, as well as remarkable estates around the world for more private clients — all featured in the pages of Star Style.

And if that's part of the plan, then so be it.

Seriously, not going to put my attention or energy into that ring.

Much of this show has worn out it's intrigue. The only ones benefiting are the streams that show it. So, not going to "click that shit" and continue elevating the insanity.
