On October 13, 2022, the FBI testified that they were using geo-tracking data to identify Trump supporters who had gathered near the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

A bombshell report by the Electronic Freedom Foundation (EFF) revealed the “vast, secretive” partnership between private companies and the federal government to surveil and track the movements of millions of Americans.

According to the EFF, the intel alphabet agencies, including ICE, the FBI, US Secret Service, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of Defense (DoD), as well as state and local law enforcement, are being funneled hordes of private cell phone location data by private brokers who harvest the information.

This is the same tactic that Gregg Phillips, Catherine Engelbrecht, and True The Vote used for their investigation into the mail-in ballot dropbox fraud during the 2020 election. The cell phone location data collected by this group was used to identify the network of Democrat operatives who committed mass election fraud, as seen in the recently-released documentary “2000 Mules.”

The FBI was alleged to have used this data to identify patriotic protesters who traveled to Washington DC on January 6, 2021, to support President Trump and the US Constitution.

Tens of thousands of nearly one million protesters later walked to the US Capitol following President Trump’s speech where more rallies were scheduled.

The FBI used geotracking to identify the movements of several targeted individuals in this zone.

The government later said this was a restricted zone on January 6th.

Ghislaine Maxwell Wants to Use Accuser’s Overdose Death to Validate Her Appeal, While She Represents Herself in Suit Demanding Millions From Epstein’s Estate

She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, daughter of media baron Robert Maxwell, and spent most of her adult years as sidekick to multimillionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – a life of luxury, by all accounts.

Nowadays, Ghislaine Maxwell is another inmate at FCI Tallahassee, where she is serving a 20 years sentence.

There, she spends a good part of the time worrying ans planning her appeal and other lawsuits she is involved in.

Now, it surfaces that the disgraced socialite believes the overdose death of a key prosecution witness against her ‘significantly’ increases her chances of winning her appeal, sources close to her claim.

“It emerged earlier this month that one of four victims who testified against her in court, mother-of-five Carolyn Andriano, had died of a drugs overdose in a Florida hotel room.”

36-year-old Andriano suffered a fentanyl and prescription drugs overdose in May – but her death was only publicly known in recent days. She claimed to be drug-free during Maxwell’s 2021 criminal trial.

“A source said: ‘Carolyn’s death could be hugely significant because if Ghislaine is granted the right to a new trial there will be a huge legal argument about whether Carolyn’s previous testimony is admissible. This has significantly boosted Ghislaine’s chances of gaining her freedom.’

While Ms Andriano took the stand anonymously – giving powerful testimony that she was groomed by Maxwell at 14 and abused by pedophile Jeffrey Epstein more than 100 times – she waived her anonymity after the case in an interview with the Daily Mail.”

Maxwell’s lawyers will seek to use the death of Andriano during her appeal, which could come to court be as early as December.

“The source added: ‘There is no doubt Carolyn had a tragic life. She was abused by Epstein and other men. Her drug use could become a huge issue. She claimed to be sober when she gave evidence. It’s significant because at least one of the jurors said her testimony convinced them to convict Ghislaine’.”

But this is not the only judicial matter that Maxwell is involved in.

She is also seeking millions of dollars from Jejjrey Epstein’s state, to cover legal fees, security costs, and other expenses that she claims have been caused by her relationship with Epstein.

She is also being forced to represent herself in her ongoing legal dispute with the Epstein estate.

Humanitarian affairs official Martin Griffiths has warned of a global crisis unless Israel and Hamas end the hostilities

Israel’s bombing of the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza is just “the latest atrocity” to befall the Palestinian people living in the enclave, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths has said.

Hamas reported on Tuesday that as many as 400 Palestinians had been killed or injured in an attack on the densely populated Jabalia camp. An Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson later confirmed the attack, stating the airstrikes had targeted a “very important” Hamas commander and his forces. The IDF representative called the civilian casualties a tragedy, but ultimately blamed their deaths on the Hamas leadership, saying it had “embedded itself among the civilian population.”

In a statement published on Wednesday, following his two-day visit to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Griffiths surmised that the fighting in Gaza has entered “an even more terrifying phase, with increasingly dreadful humanitarian consequences.”

“October 7th and its aftermath will leave indelible scars on the lives of millions,” Griffiths said, referring to the initial attack by Hamas militants on Israeli territories near Gaza, which claimed the lives of 1,400 people, and Israel’s response which has so far seen as many as 8,600 Palestinians killed, according to Gaza health authorities.

“This cannot go on. We need a step change,” stressed the UN official, calling for all hostages captured by Hamas to be released immediately and unconditionally, and for both sides to respect their obligations under international humanitarian law and stop targeting civilians.

Griffiths concluded by calling on “those with influence” to work towards a de-escalation of the conflict, warning that “failure to act now will have consequences far beyond the region.”

On Tuesday, the director of the UN’s human rights office (OHCHR) in New York, Craig Mokhiber, described Israel’s actions in Gaza as a “text-book case of genocide” and resigned from his position, stating that the UN had “surrendered to the power of the US” and failed in its duty to prevent the killing of Palestinian civilians.

The US has so far shown little intention of pushing for a ceasefire in Gaza and has instead pledged its unending support for Israel and its right to “self-defense.” US Senator Lindsey Graham has even suggested that Washington would stand by Israel regardless of how many civilians are killed in its fight against Hamas.

Pfizer To Shut Down Two Facilities Amid Major Cost Cuts

Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer confirmed it will be closing down two of its facilities in North Carolina amid a cost-cutting initiative after it revealed that sales of its COVID-19 vaccine and other products would see a drop.

The company told multiple local media outlets that it would be closing its sites in Durham and Morrisville, saying the closures are part of an effort "to operate more efficiently and effectively."

"As part of this effort, Pfizer has decided to close the Kit Creek facility in Morrisville … and the Durham Clinical Manufacturing Facility," the company said, according to the Triangle Business Journal. "Pfizer continues to operate its largest North Carolina facilities, including two in Sanford and one in Rocky Mount."

It's not clear how many workers would be impacted or laid off. The Epoch Times has contacted the company for comment Monday.

“All job-related decisions will be made with transparency, compassion, and respect, and in compliance with applicable laws," Pfizer told the News & Observer publication. And any employee who is impacted by the closures will be offered a "generous separation package," Pfizer told ABC11 TV, or will be given the chance to apply for another position.

Morrisville Mayor T.J. Cawley suggested that some workers might be laid off, according to the paper. Multiple Pfizer employees who had worked at the two North Carolina facilities listed the hashtag OpenToWork on their LinkedIn profiles in recent days.

“Overall, I think our area is pretty well buffered from the economic downtown,” the mayor said. “Talent will always move around from company to company. We have such a strong talent pool that companies will keep coming here.”

Before the closures were confirmed by the company, a number of unnamed Pfizer workers complained on social media that they would be getting laid off soon amid the company's cost-cutting scheme. Posts alleged that Pfizer officials held a live stream with thousands of workers to announce the cuts earlier in October.

Rate of American babies dying before their first birthdays increases for the first time in 20 years

The Biden administration announced another bleak signal for life in the United States this week. The rate accounting for the number of babies to die before their first birthdays jumped 3% in 2022 — the first year-to-year increase since 2002, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC indicated that the infant mortality rate was 5.44 in 2021. Last year, the rate was 5.6. The total number of reported infant deaths in 2022 was 20,538, up 610 from the previous year.

Referencing infant birth and death certificates collected from all states and the District of Columbia by the National Center for Health Statistics, the CDC concluded there were increases from 2021 to 2022 more or less across the board. Some of the most significant increases were seen among baby boys, whose mortality rate leaped from 5.83 deaths per 1,000 to 6.06; among premature babies, those who had been in the womb for fewer than 37 weeks and 34 weeks; and among infants of women ages 25-29.

For babies under a month old, the mortality rate increased 3%, from 3.49 to 3.58. For post-neonatal babies, there was a 4% increase, from 1.95 to 2.02.

There were also increases in mortality rates for babies of all races, except for Asians, who saw a decrease from 3.69 to 3.5.

Over 30 states saw rises in the number of babies who didn't make it to their first birthdays.

The top five causes of death provided, in order, were congenital malformations; short gestation and low birth weight; sudden infant death syndrome; accidents; and maternal complications of pregnancy. Among the causes, there were glaring year-over-year increases in the number of deaths by "maternal complications" and bacterial sepsis, 9% and 14%, respectively.

Dr. Eric Eichenwald, a Philadelphia-based neonatologist, told the Associated Press the data was "disturbing," suggesting that experts can presently only speculate as to the cause behind the sharp increase in infant mortality.

Sandy Chung, the president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, told CNN, "The infant mortality rate in this country in unacceptable."

Hochul Allocates $75 Million to Combat Hate Crimes in New York

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday $75 million in grants for local police departments and community centers in response to a surge in hate crimes amid the ongoing Israel–Hamas conflict.

Ms. Hochul said in a public address on Oct. 31 that she would deploy “all available state resources” to prevent the escalation of “hate and bias incidents” in the city and ensure the safety of New Yorkers.

“My top priority is to protect the safety and well-being of all New Yorkers,” the Democrat politician said.

“As governor, I reaffirm that there is zero tolerance in New York for antisemitism, Islamophobia, or hate of any kind, and it’s critical we deploy every possible state resource to keep New Yorkers safe.”

The funding includes $50 million for local law enforcement agencies to modernize their operations, enabling them to purchase technology like plate readers, surveillance cameras, dispatch systems, and gunshot detection devices to help them prevent hate crimes more effectively.

The remaining $25 million will go toward enhancing security at houses of worship, community centers, and other locations that may be susceptible to hate crimes. Ms. Hochul said this funding will support exterior security improvements and strengthen cybersecurity at the selected sites.

Ms. Hochul also appointed Judge Jonathan Lippman to launch a review of anti-Semitism and anti-discrimination policies at the City University of New York (CUNY). This review will provide recommended actions for the CUNY’s board of trustees to ensure Jewish students’ safety.

Ms. Hochul, who traveled to Israel on Oct. 17 on a “solidarity mission,” stated in her remarks that Jewish people in New York are experiencing “the greatest increase in antisemitic hate crimes in decades.”

New York has the largest percentage of Jews among all the U.S. states, with 21 percent of the nation’s 7.6 million Jewish people residing there as of 2020, according to the American Jewish Population Project at Brandeis University.

“And I must ask, where are their allies now? For you can vigorously oppose Israel’s response following the attack on their people but still be vigorously opposed to terrorism, Hamas, antisemitism, and hate in all of its forms,” Ms. Hochul said.

She further emphasized that “every single New Yorker has a right to feel safe and to be safe as they go about their daily lives, and we must accept nothing less.”

Senate Confirms Iran Nuclear Deal Architect Jack Lew For Ambassador To Israel Despite GOP Criticism

The U.S. Senate voted Tuesday to confirm Iran Nuclear Deal architect Jack Lew for ambassador to Israel with all Democrats voting in Lew’s favor.

The vast majority of Senate Republicans voiced their disfavor at the U.S. government making Lew ambassador to Israel in the wake of Iran-backed Hamas terrorists’ attack on Israel, but the opposing Republicans fell short of stopping Lew’s confirmation in the Democrat-controlled Senate, which voted 53-43 to confirm him. Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Rand Paul (R-KY) joined Democrats in voting to confirm Lew.

Lew, the former Treasury secretary, played a key role in the development of the Iran Nuclear Deal agreed upon in 2015 when Biden was vice president. He was also questioned in 2016 after he played a role in the Obama administration’s handout of $400 million in cash to Tehran.
