I think that it is worth pointing out that China did not "FIRE at" a sub hunting helo. They 'released' defensive countermeasures in a manner that put the helicopter at risk. Arguably you can contend that the countermeasures were used in an offensive manner; however stating that China 'FIRED at' is a deceptive title.
While we cannot be accountable for the headline that a news organization uses we should be careful as to what wording we use for the notables.
