No, the Bible was written by men who were told what to write by the Holy Spirit. It's the real deal. It's also why the early Christian Church came about so quickly. In the blink of an eye the Roman pagans became Christian with huge churches and the Cross of Jesus led them in battle. At that time, and for centuries later, ONLY THE CHURCH HAD THE BIBLE. Everybody else did not. The Priests are the one who made up those fairy tales you speak of and told them to the people saying they are in the Bible.
They did this for centuries. Then a German inventor, Johannas Gutenberg, invented the movable type printing press in 1445. He caught all those Priests, Bishops and especial the Pope BY SURPRISE. It may help you to understand this better if I tell you a true story. One Saturday my mother sent her pastor to my home to save me. It was my weekend with the 2 kids. I invited him and gave my young kids a few dollars and said go have a good time for an hour or so. He started talking and after awhile, I said: I don't think that's right. He said he's right while I got up and walked to the front door closed in the living room and brought my copy of the Bible. As I pasted him I could see him stiffen up as I pasted the couch he was on and sat on a near by chair. One thing led to another, his saying thing and my pointing out the opposite in the Bible. Then he invited me to visit his church's library, said thate are many good books I could read.
I said: And who wrote those books, were the men? He said YES, many famous Biblical scholars. I was standing up near him at this time. I point out the last words which said: Led no man add of subtract from the words written in this book or I will (punish him severely in the second death). The Pastor jumped up all red in the face with his neck veins bulging out and screamed: THAT BOOK DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU. IT BELONGS TO THE CHURCH. THE CHURCH SHOULD HAVE NEVER LET YOU HAVE IT as he was storming out of my house.
