That's because qresear.ch was designed from the start to be text only.
The GermanAnon that created it didn't have the $ to afford the much higher costs associated with storing images.
It's a bummer because many such cases of anons wanting to find old images, but totally understandable as to why they aren't there.
Yes, it used to be better when Jim ran his own image server.
However, he outsourced it to a third party (ducks) and now the retention period isn't the same.
And the old way of internal storage is long gone so no hooks back to it are available.
