Honest question ref J6.
I'm aware of those folks (PRESUMEABLY) currently sitting in jail.
Does anyone have family or friend who has been charged with something for J6 ?
-Someone who was onsite and entered the building,
-maybe only stayed outside but charged with something else
-maybe flew into DC and is on a terror watch list
-forced to wear an ankle monitor
Has anyone officially gone to court and completed the whole "court-related J6 issue" nightmare?
Here's why I ask: I have a friend who went to DC, and got caught up in a kerfuffle outside the Capitol. He has been charged, but all court dates keep getting pushed back, he has not accepted any of the charges or a plea deal. However, when they came to arrest him (local PD in a diff state), he stayed in his home for 45 mins/refused to come and as a result, they charged him with resisting and he has been on an ankle monitor since this summer.
I've checked his court case number with the DC court docket and it's sealed. As are a b'jillion other court cases. Oddly enough, it appears that all the court cases (maybe 1000 total in 2023) for this magistrate are sealed. I don't know if its part of the "Sealed Indictments" list that goes Waaaaay back.(The one with hundreds of thousands of names on it.)
I'm wondering where this is going, when its going to get there. He is not allowed to speak to any other people that were at J6 (violation of his terms of house arrest) so he cannot confirm their status either. He has a shithead Probation Officer that gigs him everytime he "violates" his weekly schedule. (has to submit a schedule everyweek for the following week, with a list of places that he can go to, the address, and the hours he will be away from home. He recently had a flat tire and had to pull over, and got gigged for stopping at a location not on his list. He is currently in the building industry, and his ankle monitor get dirty on the jobsite. As such, it has "alarmed" at 3-5am, showing he was tampering with it, when he was at home sleeping- but he got gigged for it.) Currently he meets with his attny in his home state, and has zoom meetings with DC prosecutor, however he has been told he will go to actual court in DC. So, how does that work under COG with DC being under foreign rule, yet American laws/attnys being used against him? See where I'm going with this?
So I'm wondering whats really going on here with all the delays. And if these are truly official charges by a corrupt DC Capitol police that will hold water. Or if it's all just a game we have to suffer thru during COG?
