Democrat Senator Dick Durbin Proposes Letting Illegal Aliens Serve in the Military

Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), in a speech on the Senate floor Monday, proposed allowing illegal immigrants to serve in the United States military.

The bulk of Durbin’s comments centered on a plea with his Republican colleagues to reach across the aisle and work in a bipartisan manner to fix the broken immigration system.

But then he added this interesting proposal– use illegal aliens to beef up military recruiting numbers – which are dismal.

“Do you know what the recruiting numbers are at the Army, Navy, and the Air Force? They can’t reach their quotas each month. They can’t find enough people to join our military forces. And there are those who are undocumented who want the chance to serve and risk their lives for this country,” he explained.

Again Pushes For Mass Amnesty

On top of a push to place illegal immigrants in the ranks of the military, Senator Durbin also renewed calls for amnesty for so-called “DREAMers.”

DREAMers are people who were brought to the United States unlawfully as children.“We should create additional lawful pathways for immigrants to work in the United States,” Durbin said. “We should also give our undocumented population—most of whom have been here for decades—legal status, so that they can fully contribute to our society.”

Durbin joined Republican Senator Lindsey Graham in 2021 in introducing legislation potentially providing permanent residency and eventual citizenship to DREAMers.

The two have long worked together in trying to push through such measures in a bipartisan manner.

Durbin and Graham were both part of the infamous Gang of Eight – a group of bipartisan senators who passed an immigration reform bill in the Senate in 2013, though it later expired in the House under then-Speaker John Boehner.

Dick Durbin’s push to allow illegal immigrants to serve in the military was met with swift condemnation on social media.

Political commentator Jesse Kelly, himself a Marine, delivered with his usual style of dark sarcasm.

“Not to worry,” he said. “I’m sure that platoon full of illegals will refuse their orders to fire on you and your family because of their oath to the Constitution.”

Others pointed out just how much Democrats love illegal immigrants as opposed to our actual military. Remember when troops were being dischargedbecause they refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine?

Do you also remember that illegal immigrants were not required to get the vaccine when they hopped across the border?

Can you imagine being a former member of the military fired for not getting the vaccine, only to get replaced by an illegal immigrant who was never required to get one?

“Allowing your country to be invaded and then enlisting the invaders to ‘protect’ you is next-level treason,” wrote one supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Durbin’s attempt to allow an invasion of the military by illegals comes on the same day a video showing a large group of Chinese nationals crossing the southern border cropped up on social media.China is viewed as the biggest threat to the United States currently and Democrats would like to see military-aged Chinese nationals in the American Army.

Is WAPO looking for a “lone wolf” to assassinate President Trump? Matt Gaetz seems to thinks so…

There’s certainly nothing subtle about this recent WAPO article. It seems to be a dogwhistle for an assassination attempt on President Trump. It’s as if they’re looking for some whacked-out lone wolf who’s willing to take one for the team. This is what Matt Gaetz highlighted in his post on X, where he shared the article’s inflammatory title and highly disturbing artwork. Together, they seem to promote the idea of “stopping” a leader through historically deadly means.

The piece is titled: Opinion A Trump dictatorship is increasingly inevitable. We should stop pretending.

The artwork depicts a statue of Caesar merged with the face of President Trump, essentially conveying the message, “Eliminate the new dictator just as you did with the previous one.”

This disturbingly violent piece was written by the actual editor-at-large of WAPO, Robert Kagan, who is also a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Incidentally, his wife is Victoria Nuland of color revolution fame.

Robert Kagan is a typical hateful ruling class apparatchik who doesn’t seem to care if the majority supports President Trump – if he and his pals don’t, then by golly, he must die…or something like that. And this isn’t the first time the regime has purposed Julius Caesar for its thinly veiled Trump “assassination” fantasies. Who can forget this play from 6 years ago. The left calls this “art.” Normal people call it a death threat.

Matt Gaetz knows exactly what the left is really up to. Here’s the post he shared on X:

The article essentially appears to advocate for this “assassination” in the name of the “common good,” drawing parallels with historical events like those in Roman times.

What’s truly ironic is that the people calling Trump “Hitler” are currently cheering on a full-blown “police state.” Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald also chimed in on this legacy media “hive mind” mentality:

Look at this hive mind of corporate media outlets: they all think alike, say the same things, work for the same agenda, all have the same mindset and worldview, only hire those who see the world like them.

None of this should come as a surprise, given the left’s love for the “by any means necessary” mantra, particularly when it concerns President Trump. The true shame in all of this is that President Trump is a decent man committed to making the country great for everyone. However, the mainstream media has succeeded in indoctrinating a half the population into viewing him as Hitler Jr., simply because he’s a direct threat to the deep state and is willing to expose the massive corruption within the Swamp. This really drives home the extent of government rot that we’re dealing with and how the legacy media can never be trusted.
