The First Amendment, Brought To You By Pfizer

Pfizer now claims the right of a corporate sovereign, arguing that states have “no legitimate interest in regulating” the company’s commercial speech while demanding the power to censor Americans’ newsfeeds.

The call for pharmaceutical supremacy came in Pfizer’s response to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s suit alleging that Pfizer committed fraud and “conspired to censor public discourse.”

Pfizer embraces its merger with the state when convenient, arguing that it cannot be held liable for misleading the public on its Covid vaccine because the company “acted pursuant to its contract with the United States Government.”

The court documents insist that the PREP Act, invoked by President Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar, provides complete immunity for Pfizer’s Covid products.

While the PREP Act prevents citizens injured by the company’s vaccines from recovering money damages in court, it does not nullify state laws concerning fraud.

Pfizer’s affinity for the state is reserved for the expansive legal favoritism awarded to Big Pharma, achieved through decades and billions of dollars in lobbying efforts.

The company insists that “The State of Texas has no legitimate interest in regulating Pfizer’s truthful, non-misleading speech concerning the benefits of receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.” Further, the brief calls Paxton’s suit an “attempt to punish Pfizer for spreading truthful, FDA-approved information educating the public regarding the Covid-19 vaccine.”

At no point, however, does Pfizer respond to Paxton’s detailed allegations that the company’s information was not truthful, but was instead a lucrative marketing campaign designed to “deceive the public.”

The filing does not deny Paxton’s detailed allegations that Pfizer “coerced social media platforms to silence prominent truth-tellers,” including a former FDA Director, and “conspired to censor the vaccine’s critics.”

“Judge” Engoron Bars President Trump from Giving His OWN CLOSING ARGUMENT in Rigged New York Civil Trial – Also Coldly Denies Defense When They Request Delay Due to Melania Trump’s Mother’s Death

Radical left “Judge” Arthur Engoron arbitrarily decided Wednesday to deny President Trump the opportunity to give a closing argument during his civil fraud trial in New York City.

This is the latest example of how he has rigged this entire trial against the 45th President. He even refused a minutia of compassion following the death of Trump’s mother-in-law, who died Tuesday.

As Cristina Laila has reported, tyrannical New York Attorney General Letitia “Peekaboo” James is seeking $250 million in “damages” when there is no victim in this fraud case. She also wants to ban Trump and his sons from operating any businesses in New York.

NBC News noted Trump had previously planned to deliver part of the closing statement himself in the trial, which is his constitutional right. But Engoron responded by listing a series of vague restrictions that made it impossible for Trump’s lawyers to agree to.

CBS News reported Engoron stated that Trump would have had to limit his statement in court to “what is permissible in a counsel’s closing argument, that is, commentary on the relevant, material facts that are in evidence, and application of the relevant law to those facts.” Of course, Engoron has taken every possible action to prevent the truth from emerging.

Laila previously revealed Engoron gagged President Trump’s lawyers, fined Trump twice for violating bogus “gag” orders, and denied his bid for a mistrial in New York. Engoron even yelled at Trump’s attorneys while they defended him and threatened to jail Trump for leaving up post on his Truth Social page.

Engoron’s despicable bias has been so evident that moderate Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) filed a judicial ethics complaint against him. A New York Appellate Judge also paused his order to dissolve the Trump organization back in October.

Given these facts, the “judge” knew Trump’s attorneys would never agree and proceeded to censor Trump one more time using Orwellian language.

Trump attorney Chris Kise wrote in an email to Engoron saying that Trump has “been wrongfully demeaned and belittled by an out of control, politically motivated Attorney General” and he should be allowed to “speak about the things that must be spoken about.”

Kise then requested to postpone closing arguments of the 45th President’s mother-in-law, Amalija Knavs, whom he was close to.

As Fox News reported, Engoron responded to this reasonable request with an insincere “sorry to hear the sad news” and denied it.

He then proceeded to censor Trump one more time using Orwellian language.

Not having heard from you by the third extended deadline (noon today), I assume that Mr. Trump will not agree to the reasonable, lawful limits I have imposed as a precondition to giving a closing statement above and beyond those given by his attorneys, and that, therefore, he will not be speaking in court tomorrow, Engoron wrote.

Online safety regulator lashes X, formerly Twitter, over failure to police hate

Commissioner Julie Inman Grant said the platform had created a "perfect storm for safety to be diminished" in Australia by reinstating thousands of banned accounts, cutting its online safety staff, and taking too long to respond to reports of hate.

She likened the platform's actions to pouring petrol on a bushfire while getting rid of the fire brigade.

The revelations come after Ms Inman Grant issued a legal notice to X Corp – the owner of X – in June 2023, demanding answers on how it was meeting the Australian government's safety expectations.

She said the responses were "jaw-dropping" and would almost inevitably result in the platform becoming more toxic and unsafe.

Hate bans lifted

The commissioner has now published the responses from X, revealing that since Elon Musk acquired the company in October 2022, 6,100 previously banned accounts were reinstated, including 194 that were suspended for hateful conduct.

Ms Inman Grant said she understood those figures related to Australian accounts only, with many more re-instated globally.

She compared it to putting dangerous drivers back on the road without added safety measures.

"There needs to be some sort of oversight or scrutiny to ensure that they're not continuing to present greater risks to Australian users," she said.

Video: Just Murdering a Few More Journalists in Gaza? With the Support of Private Contractors

On Monday, January 8, the total number of journalists killed by the Israeli military, often in coordination with the American military and a host of private contractors, contractors who also run the surveillance systems at your high school or shopping mall, the total number of journalists killed in three months of attacks on Gaza reached 111 with the deaths of journalists Abdullah Breis and Mohammed Abu Dayer.

What is happening there? It is most certainly not justified defense of Israel. No one in Israel even believes that any more, now that they are slowly waking up to the deep and painful fraud that was October seventh. It is also not simply the abuse of the much-abused Palestinians, left homeless for generations and subject to the worst restrictions on every aspect of their lives.

What is done to the Palestinians is horrible, for sure. Yet we Americans should not deceive ourselves about the significance of what is being done over there to those people with names that are hard to pronounce. As horrible as the treatment of Palestinians may be, it bears a similarity to how poor Americans are tortured, bitten by trained dogs, and killed in our private prisons. It is the same systematic abuse by a sick society, America and Israel, steeped in hypocrisy and waddling in depravity.

It is unprecedented in history that so many journalists were tracked by sensors and cameras, that fed data to supercomputers which then systematically ordered them murdered by drones, robots, missiles and bombs for the sin of reporting to the world about the cruel slaughter of civilians in Gaza.

No, the killing of journalists is not about obscure things happening over there in a distant land. No, something entirely different is being rolled out before your very eyes, rolled out so slowly and methodically that you must be very focused in order notice it.

Antony Loewenstein explains in great detail in his book “The Palestine Laboratory: How Israel Exports the Technology of Occupation Around the World” the process by which Israeli firms develop new technologies for tracking, identifying, intimidating, and killing people in Gaza and the occupied territories, and then export that technology to the rest of the world, to your neighborhood.

The attack on Gaza is not just about Gaza, and it’s not just about Palestinians. It is a test of new technologies for tracking and killing people that will be sold to the highest bidder—and there are many of them.

So, what does it mean that so many journalists were tracked down and killed in such a short time with such brazen impunity?

The answer is as clear as it is horrifying, terrifying. This is an experiment in ending all reporting, ending all journalism, on a blatantly criminal operation by guaranteeing, via facial recognition software that anyone who tells the truth will be murdered in good time.

When the next stage of the conquest of the earth by the billionaires and their lackeys starts, perhaps even in a few months. When money disappears, when water becomes undrinkable, when access to food ends, when drones, robots, and killer Starlink satellites start to murder at random, when things go over the deep end—as we know they will—I ask you, what new knowhow, what new technology and programs, will the billionaires buy from Israel?

What else but systems for killing journalists and any truthteller.

This is the new reality for them because they know that if they do not kill off journalists and truthtellers fast enough, they will not be able to implement the next stage of the plan.

Thus, what is being done in Gaza today is what will be done in Galveston, Texas, in October; what is done in the West Bank next week will be done in West Bend, Wisconsin, next May.

We must stand together, here, there, and everywhere, to stop this trap that has been set for humanity using cold algorithms on supercomputers.

Stand up and take action today, right where you stand, to shut down this plan, before it shuts all of us down.
