>>20239437, >>20239440 DC_Draino: Over a dozen state Senators have sponsored and filed a bill to remove corrupt Sec. of State Brad Raffesberger from the State Election Board PN

Bill would allow Georgia election investigations of Raffensperger

Senators seek oversight of secretary of state

January 12, 2024

A Republican-sponsored bill introduced Friday wouldempower the State Election Boardto investigate Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a response to the board’s decision last month not to open an inquiry.

The measurewould also remove Raffensperger, a Republican, as a nonvoting member of the State Election Board andrequire him to cooperate with investigations.

The legislation, Senate Bill 358, comes after the board deadlocked on whether to pursue complaints by conservative activists who blame Raffensperger for human errors in Fulton County’s manual audit of the 2020 election. The problems, including over 3,000 double-counted and misallocated votes, didn’t change the overall outcome of the statewide audit, which confirmed Democrat Joe Biden’s win over Republican Donald Trump.

Georgia prosecutor under scrutiny in Trump case was held in contempt last year

Special prosecutor Nathan Wade, who was recently accused of having a romantic relationship with DA Fani Willis, disobeyed a court order in his divorce proceeding.

01/13/2024 06:20 PM EST

Just three days after Georgia prosecutors indicted Donald Trump last summer, one of the lead prosecutors on the case faced some legal trouble of his own.

The prosecutor, Nathan Wade, was held in contempt for defying a court order in an acrimonious divorce proceeding with his wife.Wade, a judge in Cobb County, Ga., ruled, had “willfully” failed to turn over documents about his income— including, his wife later said, income from his work on the Trump case.

Wade’s divorce became abruptly intertwined with the Trump prosecution this week, when a lawyer for one of Trump’s co-defendants alleged in a court filing that Wade has been having an affair with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Shortly after the allegation became public, Wade’s wife, Jocelyn, served Willis with a subpoena seeking her testimony in the divorce proceeding.

But any finding of contempt represents a serious and uncommon rebuke from a judge, experts on Georgia family law said. “To actually be found in willful contempt, it’s not a good position,” said Yaniv Heled, a professor at Georgia State College of Law who focuses on family law. “It’s not a place where you want to be with the judge.”

A special prosecutor in the spotlight

Wade joined Willis’ team as an outside contractor on Nov. 1, 2021. The next day, he filed for divorcefrom his wife of more than 24 years, Joycelyn Wade.

In the two years since then, he has beenpaid nearly $700,000 from the Fulton Countydistrict attorney’s office for his work helping to lead the Trump case, according to a court filing from his wife.

On Jan. 8, a lawyer for Mike Roman, a former 2020 Trump campaign official who is charged alongside Trump with a racketeering conspiracy to subvert the election, filed court documents in the criminal case accusing Wade and Willis of having a “clandestine” romantic relationship.Merchant his attorney, is seeking to have Willis and Wade disqualified and to have the case dismissed

Judge Scott McAfee, who is presiding over the case, said in court Friday that he expects tohold a hearing on Merchant’s allegations in early February. The case does not yet have a trial date. In the meantime, the allegations are roiling a sprawling and highly sensitive case. Trump has amplified the allegations on social media, even as his lawyer, Steve Sadow, told the judge that he was “leery” of joining Merchant’s call for Willis’ disqualification.

The district attorney herself may become a witness in Wade’s divorce proceeding. And new scrutiny of the legal documents in the divorce — a case file that has since been sealed — offers details about how Wade disobeyed a court order amid a drawn-out dispute over his income.

Throughout2022 and 2023, lawyers for Wade’s wife accused Wade of failing to turn over documents showing how much money he made — a common exchange of information in divorce proceedings. The information Wade did provide “was so woefully inadequate as to be useless,” his wife’s lawyers wrote in court papers.…

Did Zelensky torture and murder a US citizen journalist with Biden’s approval? Tucker says yes, and here’s why…

1/5

The Ukrainian government is trying to sell us a story that’s very hard to swallow. They claim a US citizen and independent journalist who dug into their corruption and the Biden family’s deep, dark deceit just happened to die of “natural causes” in their custody.

21st Century Wire:

This week the US Department of State finally acknowledged American citizen journalist Gonzalo Lira, but not soon enough to make any difference in saving the man’s life.

“We can confirm the death of a U.S. citizen in Ukraine. We offer our sincerest condolences to the family on their loss,” said a US State Department representative to TASS news agency in response to reports of his death in a Ukrainian prison in Kharkov.

They then added, “We stand ready to provide all appropriate consular assistance. Out of respect to the family during this difficult time, we have no further comment.”

And you know who’s definitely not falling for this far-fetched tale? Tucker Carlson. He’s not about to toe the line with the absurd narratives from the corrupt Ukraine and US regimes. Instead, Tucker’s cutting through the noise and pushing the truth—that Gonzalo was jailed, tortured, and ultimately murdered because he spoke out against Zelensky and Biden.

Tucker:

Gonzalo Lira is an American citizen who’s been tortured in a Ukrainian prison since July, for the crime of criticizing Zelensky. Biden officials approve of this, because they’d like to apply the same standard here. The media agree. Here’s a statement from Gonzalo Lira’s father.

Tucker’s right: If Biden could get away with it, would he go as far as torturing and offing reporters who criticize him? Just take a look at his treatment of January 6th political prisoners and cases like Douglass Mackey. It’s a pretty revealing snapshot of where Biden’s moral compass really points, right?

But Tucker didn’t stop there. In a post on X about Gonzalo Lira’s dad, he highlighted something chilling. Weeks ago, Lira’s father eerily predicted the grim fate his son would meet. Tucker’s making sure this crucial piece of the puzzle doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.

Tucker:

Gonzalo Lira, Sr. says his son has died at 55 in a Ukrainian prison, where he was being held for the crime of criticizing the Zelensky and Biden governments. Gonzalo Lira was an American citizen, but the Biden administration clearly supported his imprisonment and torture. Several weeks ago we spoke to his father, who predicted his son would be killed.

Dig a little deeper into this mess, and you’ll find the situation with Gonzalo gets even murkier and more tangled. It’s a really dark and dangerous rabbit hole.

Popular X account KanekoaTheGreat wrote an article that revealed the true identity of Hunter Biden’s “boss” in Ukraine. Turns out, it wasn’t just a random natural gas company owner; it was, in fact, aprominent Ukrainian oligarch named Kolomoysky

KanekoaTheGreat:

Contrary to popular belief, the boss of Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, at the Ukrainian gas companyBurisma Holdings, was not the CEO of Burisma Holdings, Mykola Zlochevsky.

Instead,it was Ihor Kolomoysky, who was part of the newly installed Ukrainian government, which the Obama Administration itself had just installed in Ukraine, in what the head of the “private CIA” firm Stratfor correctly called “the most blatant coup in history.”

Shortly after the Obama Administration’s Ukrainian coup, on March 2, 2014, Kolomoysky, a supporter of Yanukovych’s overthrow, was appointed the governor of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.Hunter Biden, with no experience in the industry or region, would join Kolomoysky’s Burisma Holdings two months later, on May 12, 2014.

A 2012 conducted by the AntiCorruption Action Centre (ANTAC) in Ukraine, a nonprofit investigative organization co-funded by American billionaire George Soros and the U.S. State Department, revealed that the true owner of Burisma Holdings was the Ukrainian billionaire-oligarch Ihor Kolomoysky.

It was this very article that Gonzalo Lira referenced in a video before he was killed.

KanekoaTheGreat:

RIP Gonzalo Lira

Here, @GonzaloLira1968 discusses my article exposing how Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky owned Hunter Biden’s Burisma, financed the political rise of Volodymyr Zelensky, and funded the Azov Battalion.

@TuckerCarlson: “Gonzalo Lira was an American citizen, but the Biden administration clearly supported his imprisonment and torture.”

The way they treated this American citizen journalist is sickening. It’s also a massive red flag about what’s really going on in Ukraine, and it’s also tying the knot tighter between the chaos there and the crooked Biden Boys here. This is really starting to feel like a dysfunctional family affair with international consequences.

If you’re on the hunt for some really deep, intense, and impactful last words, check out Gonzalo Lira’s final thread on X. It’s packed with real-life drama and delivers a punch that’ll stick with you:

Right now, I’m about to try to get out of Ukraine, and seek political asylum in Hungary. Either I’ll cross the border and make it to safety, or I’ll be disappeared by the Kiev regime. This is what’s happened to me over the past three months.

On May 1, I was arrested for my YouTube videos. The photos of my arrest are pretty funny—morning bed-head made me look like a character out of Dr. Seuss. My crime was making videos critical of the West and their proxy regime in Kiev—and how they are destroying Ukraine.

Attached to these tweets is the full indictment against me, both the original Ukrainian and English translation. As you can see, even the prosecutor admits I committed no crime against property or any person. And I certainly provided no aid or intelligence to the Russians….

My indictment explicitly states that all I did was discuss publicly known facts about the war—the epitome of free speech in a democracy. But Zelensky’s Ukraine is no democracy—it is a thieving, corrupt, murderous gangster regime PRETENDING to be a polite “western” democracy.

Once arrested, I was given documentation assuring me that I was “guaranteed the right” to contact my lawyers and loved ones, as well as post bail. In fact, I was blocked from calling anyone—even my lawyers. And I was not permitted to post bail—though I had the cash to do so.

In other words, the formalities were carried out scrupulously—while judicial and ethical grotesqueries ruled. That’s Zelensky’s Ukraine. That’s what his thuggish regime cares about: The >perception< of democracy and the rule of law, so as to mask the sordid, corrupt reality.

That’s why they relentlessly persecute anyone who tells the truth about this war. I’m not the only so-called “propagandist” the Kiev regime has thrown in prison. It’s also why they shoot any AFU soldier who dares retreat. That’s why the AFU losses are so horrific—but hidden.

As you can see by the indictment, the video I made that really chapped their ass was “Ukraine: A Primer”, which gives the historical background to the conflict—where I state outright that this invasion wasn’t out of the blue. That indeed, it was provoked by the Kiev regime.

Once inside Sizo Prison, I was tortured in two of the four cells I was in—by the other prisoners. Guards NEVER beat prisoners—they outsource torture to the other prisoners. One prisoner actually apologized to me, telling me he had no choice. He wasn’t lying. I understood.

I got a cracked rib in my first cell, but it wasn’t too bad. The worst stretch was in my fourth cell. From 1pm on June 21 until 7pm the next day—30 hours—I was beaten and sleep deprived, my arms twisted the wrong way around at the shoulders, and generally beaten pretty bad.

I’ve taken a beating in my time. So sure, it hurt like hell, but it was manageable—but then at one point, two thugs held my head and used a toothpick to scratch the whites of my left eye, while asking me if I could still read if I had just one. ngl, >that< was unnerving.

Near the end of this session, one of the thugs struck me in the chest so hard and so repetitively that the beating left a yellow-and-green splotch dead-center on my sternum. He was >berated< by the cell boss, because he’d left a mark on me—which was a no-no. >Perceptions<

Then as luck would have it, two days later—when the bruising was in full bloom—a senior guard came to give me a wellness check! This was likely because of the Chilean embassy efforts. The US embassy called me three times, but gave me nothing but “support”—empty bromides.

The guard told me to remove my shirt so he could look me over. The bruising was really spectacular—but he just nodded and pretended he didn’t see a thing. >Perceptions< He’d checked me, right? Why was I beaten to the point of torture? Well—it wasn’t over my YouTube videos!

I was imprisoned because of my videos—no doubt. The videos are why the SBU arrested me and put me in Sizo Prison without bail. But as they investigated me—and examined my computers and accounts, all of which they confiscated and opened—the SBU realized that I’m not poor.

So once they had me imprisoned for my videos, the SBU took the opportunity to extort money from me—using the guards as accomplices, who in turn used the prisoners as the muscle. How I discovered this is too complicated for a Twitter thread. But I’m writing a book about it.

All told, they extorted USD$70,000 out of me, and split it among themselves. They also took another $9k when they arrested me (my emergency cash). And another 11 grand, which was the bail money. With the computers, iPhone, etc., I’m out an even 100k on this adventure.

I’m never seeing any of that back, not even the bail money—because I’ve decided to leave Ukraine before my trial. My trial is on Wednesday August 2—and I’ve already been told: I WILL be found guilty. My sentence will be five to eight years in a prison labor camp.

But here’s the thing: The conditions of my bail are that I have to wear an electronic monitor, surrender my passports, and not leave the city of Kharkov, much less the country. HOWEVER—after posting bail, I >didn’t< get an ankle monitor—and they >returned< my passports.

Later at the SBU offices, they >returned other documents< they’d confiscated—my driver’s license and my motorcycle registration. In Sizo, I told an inmate how last year I’d been detained, released, but told not to leave Ukraine. He laughed. “They were telling you to leave!”

This time, it looks like the same is happening: They’re telling me not to leave—but leaving the door open. Or so I hope. Or maybe I’m being set up by them so they can justify putting me away in a labor camp—so no one will ever know about their sordid extortion scheme.

I simply don’t know. So I decided to die trying. I rode my motorcycle across Ukraine—1,400 kms in two days. I’m going to Hungary to ask for political asylum. When I fail to show up in court in Kharkov, an arrest warrant will be issued, likely an international warrant.

No doubt other EU countries will comply like sheep, returning me to serve five to eight years in a prison labor camp— —regardless of the fact that Kiev arrested and imprisoned me for >YouTube videos!< For free speech! What happened to “European democratic values?

And the US State Department would return me too. I’m not a black lesbian druggie, or a transgender grifter. Besides, Victoria Nuland hates my guts, or so I’m told. I’m hoping the Hungarians will read my indictment and say, “This is bullshit—we’re not sending him back.”

I’m posting this thread just as I’m getting to the border checkpoint. I’m also posting videos on the two channels I have access to, The Roundtable and Gonzalo Lira—Again. If you don’t hear from me in the next 12 hours—whelp! I’m on my way to a labor camp! Wish me luck….

He said, “Wish me luck.” But luck? That was the least of Gonzalo’s worries. He was up against a government so tangled in its own corruption that it could hardly tell right from wrong. Support from the US? He might as well have wished for a unicorn at that point.

Gonzalo knew the score. He was an independent blogger and YouTuber doing quality independent journalism—something the powers-that-be don’t like. They prefer propaganda journalism, which they can manipulate and control. That’s why the US regime didn’t lift a finger to save him. However, don’t forget that Biden moved heaven and earth to free a drug-toting lesbian basketball player who hates America. So, he has it in him, but only if you support his globalist agenda.

In the end, Gonzalo’s work, digging through layers of deceit and involving one of the most powerful and crooked families in US history, was more than risky—it was a one-way ticket to Dangerville with no return flight on the radar. He was aware, painfully so, that this could be his last stand… and it was.

Now, as we remember him, it’s with a mix of deep sorrow and great respect. God rest his soul. His brave pursuit of the truth shouldn’t be forgotten.May his legacy light up the dark corners that he was trying so desperately to expose.

Trump Jr. suggests ‘only way’ to end Ukraine conflict

US funding for Kiev has caused hundreds of thousands of deaths and enriched Ukrainian oligarchs, the ex-president’s son claimed

The fighting between Russia and Ukraine has to end in talks, and in order to persuade President Vladimir Zelensky’s government to negotiate, Washington must stop sending money to Kiev, the eldest son of former US President Donald Trump has said.

Donald Trump Jr. was asked the conflict during his appearance on the Timcast IRL podcast on YouTube on Friday.

The 46-year-old said:“Cut off the money. It’s the only way you get them [Ukraine] to the table, right?”

The result of the $111 billion in military and economic assistance that Washington has provided to Kiev since February 2022 has been to “kill hundreds of thousands of innocent men, half of whom were probably indifferent to some of the politics cause they were ethnically Russian anyway,” he argued.

“We’re literally creating the oligarch class of billionaires in Ukraine with whatever is being siphoned off… while they send young men to die as cannon fodder on the frontlines because they couldn’t care less,” Trump Jr. said.

Despite all the Western aid, the Ukrainians “were never winning, they were probably never going to win”against Russia, he added.

If his father Donald Trump returns to the White House after the election in November, he will simply tell the government in Kiev: “Hey, you got like one more month of this and if you're not at the table it's done,” the ex-president’s son said.

“Guess what, Zelensky wouldn't have a chance if we shut it down, so he’d come to the table and they [Moscow and Kiev] would come up with something,” Trump Jr. predicted.

On Friday, White House national security spokesman John Kirby acknowledged that the assistance that the US has been providing to Ukraine “has now ground to a halt.”

The announcement came as the Biden administration’s attempts to push through a $106 billion ‘national security package,’ which includes $60 billion for Kiev, continues to face staunch resistance from hardline Republican lawmakers, who have demanded stricter controls on the southern US border in exchange for approving the bill.

Earlier this week, Zelensky again urged the US politicians to unblock the aid, claiming he is now being forced to choose between paying pensions to 11 million people or buying weapons for troops on the frontline. “We simply must pay” the pensioners “because the elderly people will die” otherwise, he said.(Fuck off Zelensky)

Iceland volcano erupts, threatening fishing town(VIDEO)

The eruption followed a series of hundreds of earthquakes which prompted the evacuation of Grindavik

A volcano in southwest Iceland sent lava cascading towards the fishing town of Grindavik early on Sunday, after hundreds of earthquakes shook the region and forced the evacuation of residents overnight. The incident occurred less than a month after another powerful eruption in the region.

Saturday’s seismic activity, often a calling card for an imminent eruption, prompted officials to evacuate the town, about 32 miles southwest of the capital Reykjavik, hours ahead of the volcanic event – which occurred at about 8am GMT.

The latest eruption, on the Reykjanes Peninsula where a string of volcanoes are located, follows a fissure last month that erupted and emitted a river of lava. The molten rock flowed away from Grindavik on that occasion. Residents were permitted to return to the town on December 22, about six weeks after they had been initially evacuated from their homes following weeks of earthquakes.

In the weeks following December’s event, defensive walls were constructed around sections of the volcano’s perimeter in the hope of diverting lava flows away from the Grindavik community of about 3,800 people. However, the barriers – made from earth and rock – appear to have been breached by magma, officials said.

“A crack has opened on both sides of the defenses that have begun to be built north of Grindavik,” Iceland’s Meteorological Office (IMO) said on Sunday following a surveillance flight over the affected area.

“Lava is now flowing towards Grindavik,” the IMO added. “Based on measurements from the Coast Guard’s helicopter, the perimeter is now about 450 meters (1,500ft) from the northernmost houses in the town.”

IMO modeling has indicated that it could take several hours for the lava to reach Grindavik if it continues in its current direction, state broadcaster RUV said.

Iceland’s President, Gudni Johannesson, said on X (formerly Twitter) that “no lives are in danger” as a result of the volcanic eruption, but added that there may be a threat to infrastructure. He added that no interruption to air travel is expected.

In 2010, the eruption of Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano spewed a quarter of a billion cubic meters of ash into the atmosphere, prompting the cancelation of around 100,000 flights over an eight-day period.

Sunday’s eruption is the fifth such incident since 2021 on the Reykjanes peninsula, where about two-thirds of Iceland’s population resides. Previously, volcanoes in the region had been dormant for about 800 years.

Iceland is located between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates which, because they move in opposite directions, make the area prone to extreme seismic and volcanic activity.
