The American lunar module Peregrine is moving toward Earth and will probably burn up in the atmosphere, according to the development company Astrobotic.
"A soft landing on the moon is impossible," the company said.

North Korea has launched another ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan, the South Korean military said.
North Korea's missile landed outside Japan's exclusive economic zone, Japan's NHK television reported. A crisis center was set up in the prime minister's office.

▪️The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is helping Israel gather intelligence on senior Hamas officials in order to eliminate them, unnamed US officials told The New York Times.
US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan ordered the creation of a task force focused on Hamas in the days following the group's Oct. 7 attack on Israel, sources said. The unit is focused exclusively on senior officials.
