Jean-Pierre: We want to see the protections in Roe. We want to see Roe become the law of the land.

Jean-Pierre: Majority of Americans wants to see their rights protected. Wants to see woman have their rights protected…that's what majority of Americans want to see.
Reporter: Do those unborn babies have any rights?
Jean-Pierre: I'm not going to get into that question. I've been very, very clear about this. Where a majority of Americans stand, and that is what matters.
Mr. Biden: A year and a half ago, this Supreme Court, this Supreme Court, made an extreme decision overturning Roe, with their Dobbs decision. To rip away a Constitutional right form the American people, which had never been done before. A fundamental right ripped away…a right that is vital to a country founded on the idea of freedom.

Jean-Pierre: We have to do what the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs would allow. And that is, congress must codify Roe v Wade for all the states in America.
