Reporter: Why are you guys making it easier for people to enter the country illegally?

John Kirby [White House press conference]: I don't believe we are. Why do you think we are?

Reporter: You guys sued to cut razor wire that was put in place by Texas officials…

Kirby: So the Border Patrol could actually do their jobs.

Reporter: You won in court, so now what? The Border Patrol Union president is saying the Supreme Court's decision is going to undoubtedly encourage more illegal immigration. Do you guys know better than the Border Patrol Union?

Kirby: The Border Patrol needed access, and that's why we sued to get rid of that razor wire, so that they could do their jobs.

Reporter: Does razor work?

Kirby: Does razor wire work for what? Does it work for the Border Patrol to allow them to have the access they need to be able to better process people that are trying to get across the border? I don't think so, and that's why we asked for it to be removed.

Reporter: What is [Biden's] plan? This is happening just weeks after three hundred thousand people came into this country over the southern border, illegally. The razor wire, officials down there think, was keeping some of them out, and you guys just sued and won to remove it.

Kirby: On behalf of the Border Patrol who needed to have better access to it.

[Kirby admitting the current job of the Border Patrol is to process illegals]

Reporter: Speaker Johnson put out a statement talking about this issue [illegals]. He's saying that the VP wants congress to, "grant mass amnesty, and spend taxpayer dollars to process, not stop more illegals, and her solution is to incentivize the lawlessness and the chaos." Can the White House respond to that?

Jean-Pierre: I will say to the House Speaker, if you truly care about the border, and dealing with the border in a way that actually helps the American people, and if he really cares about a broken immigration system that's been broken for decades, then come have a conversation, A good-faith conversation. Be part of the solution.

Reporter: Would you ever consider DeSantis as a VP?

President Trump [NH Polling Location]: I just can't comment on that.

Reporter: Nikki Haley wanted it to be a two-person race…you think it's going to go in her favor at all?

President Trump: I think it's going to hurt her. Probably have a big loss today, but who knows.

Reporter: What's your message to the American people on the injustice that you're experiencing, and the big concern that the election, they try to steal it again in 2024?

President Trump: Well, we're going to be watching very closely. I very much appreciate that question because it's a very important question, More important than most people understand.

Reporter; The northern border is a huge deal here…what are you hearing from voters?

President Trump: The northern border is bad too…you have to watch both borders. And you have to watch fly-ins; you have to watch everything…I believe it's one of the worst tragedies to befall our country…I think it's one of the great tragedies in the history of our country, what they've done. Either they are very stupid, which I don't believe they are, or they hate our country. It's very simple. It can be nothing else…to allow millions of people to come into our country, totally unchecked, totally unvetted; it's not even believable.
