Father in heaven,

thank You for this this day, this bread

and the anon who prepared it.

We do not know who or what will cross our path today,

but do know You are our Rock and Fortress.

You are a Shield and Strong Tower.

Help anchor us to You today.

Teach us how to stand strong in You

and choose only Your way.

Help us walk in Your truth and not our feelings.

Help us embrace anything that comes our way

as an opportunity to see You at work

and as an opportunity to point others to You.

Thank You that You love us

and nothing can separate us from Your love,

and nothing can stop what is coming.

Even if we fail today and fall short,

You whisper Your unconditional love deep into our soul

and remind us Your mercies are new

every morning and night shift.
