Moments after Trump took the stage, they began shouting at him.

“His supporters jumped into action and forced the man and woman out the exit while trying to pull off their masks to take pictures of them,” the Reno Gazette-Journal reports.

As the troublemakers were removed from the event, the crowd chanted, “USA! USA! USA!”

“Trump has just taken the stage here in Las Vegas and boasted about his massive win in Iowa,” New York Times reporter Kellen Browning posted on X, along with a video of the incident. “He’s immediately interrupted by protesters, not an uncommon occurrence. They’re escorted out quickly.”

Trump stopped speaking for a moment and looked on as they were removed from the venue.

“They’re actually friends – enthusiastic friends,” Trump said.

It is unclear what the duo were saying or protesting.

Oklahoma GOP Passes Resolution to Condemn and Censure Sen. James Lankford for Outrageous Border Deal. 1/2

Tensions within the Oklahoma GOP have reached a boiling point as the state party’s leadership passed a resolution on Saturday to condemn U.S. Senator James Lankford for his involvement in an outrageous border security deal with Democrats.

The resolution, passed with immediate effect, states that the party will withhold all support for Senator Lankford until he ceases his involvement with the proposed legislation.

The resolution cites several concerns, notably Senator Lankford’s collaboration with Senator Chuck Schumer on a deal allegedly permitting 5,000 illegal immigrants per day to enter and work in the United States. This figure translates to approximately 155,000 illegal immigrants each month, amounting to an annual total of 1.8 million.

According to information obtained by FOX News reporter Bill Melugin, the deal includes:

— Mandatory detention of all single adults.

— Mandatory “shut down” of border once average daily migrant encounters hits 5,000. Importantly, this 5,000 number includes 1,400 CBP One app entries at ports of entry per day, and roughly 3,600 illegal crossings per day.

— How is that enforced? Once the 5,000 threshold is hit, a new authority is codified into law that requires Border Patrol to immediately remove illegal immigrants they catch without processing. They would not get to request asylum, they would immediately be removed. This includes removals back to Mexico, and deportations to home countries. This would be a massive change from current policy, which is that once an illegal immigrant reaches US soil, they must be processed via Title 8 and allowed to claim asylum. Under this new authority – they are not processed, and they are mandatorily immediately removed once the “shut down” threshold is reached.

— This “shut down” also takes effect is there are 8,500 migrant encounters in a single day.

— The “shut down” would not lift the next day. It wouldn’t lift until daily encounters are reduced to under 75% of the 5,000 threshold for at least two weeks. This means the “shut down” authority would not lift until two weeks of an average of less than 3,750 migrant encounters per day.

— Some family units will be released with ATD (Alternatives to Detention, ankle monitors etc).

— New removal authority to immediately remove all migrants who do not have valid asylum claims, which will be determined within 6 months rather than the years long process we have right now.

— Any migrant caught trying to cross twice during “shut down” phase would be banned from entering US for one year.

— US will need agreement with Mexico for MX to take back non-Mexican illegal immigrants. This hasn’t been ironed out yet.

According to Melugin, “President Biden approves of the deal and is ready to sign it as is, right now, and implement the new authority it would give him.”

The OK GOP party emphasizes support for “limited legal immigration” and opposes any ‘path to citizenship’ that would favor illegal aliens over those who have pursued immigration through legal channels.

The resolution accuses Senator Lankford of undermining the rule of law and the safety of American citizensby negotiating a deal that could potentially lead to an ‘invasion’ of the borders, referencing Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution which tasks the United States with protecting states against invasion.…

WHEREAS, Senator James Lankford was recently working with Democrat Senator Charles Schumer on an open border deal to allow 5,000 illegal immigrants a day to enter and work in the United States.

WHEREAS, The OKGOP Platform states: “We support limited legal immigration and embrace legal immigrants who choose to assimilate to our American culture, language and values.”

WHEREAS, Senator Lankford playing fast and loose with Democrats on our border policy not only disenfranchises legal immigrants seeking citizenship but it also puts the safety and security of Americans in great danger.

WHEREAS, Senator Lankford has taken an Oath to support and defend the United States Constitution, which says in Article IV, Section 4: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion…”

WHEREAS, authorizing several thousand people to invade our borders before any action can be taken is contrary to the oath that Senator Lankford took to the Constitution and therefore outside of the area that he is authorized to negotiate in.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the OKGOP strongly condemns Senator James Lankford, if and to the extent that he continues these actions, and calls upon him to cease and desist jeopardizing the security and liberty of the people of Oklahoma and of these United States.

Earlier this month, Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) expressed strong opposition to the Senate Amnesty Bill on his social media account, describing it as a “nightmare.”

He criticized the bill for granting legal status to illegal aliens who have exploited the system and violated the law.

“The Senate Amnesty Bill is a nightmare. It gives legal status to illegal aliens who have gamed our system and broken our laws. It rolls out the red carpet for 5,000 illegals EVERY DAY, forever. The time may be coming when the country will have to have a serious conversation about a very uncomfortable topic: President Biden’s mental health.

It’s a conversation the left and the media forced on the public during the Trump administration. Claims that President Trump was not mentally fit for the job and needed to be removed from office began in earnest right after his inauguration in 2017.

By January 2018, questions about Trump’s “mental fitness for the heavy duties of the presidency” nudged him to ask his doctor to administer a cognitive test. Members of Congress even requested the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service to provide an overview of the 25th Amendment’s history, purpose, and process for removing a president.

In December 2019, 350 psychiatrists and other mental health professionals signed a petition during the Democrats’ first impeachment fiasco claiming Trump’s mental health was rapidly deteriorating. And the accusations took on renewed urgency right after the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Democrats even tried but failed to establish a “presidential disability review body” in 2017 to help with the ousting process.

All those efforts went nowhere. Yes, Trump can be unpredictable, moody, temperamental, undisciplined, and occasionally downright crude, according to those who served under him. But I know several people who claim similar characteristics for their bosses.

Biden’s issues are substantively different. We frequently see him, after he has delivered a speech, wander off as if he doesn’t know where he is or where he’s supposed to go. Someone hurries over and takes his arm and points him in the right direction.

At times he’s lucid and in control, but at other times he seems baffled and confused. It’s not unusual to see this behavior in older people, and Biden turns 80 this month.

While many 80-plus seniors are still intellectually vigorous – famed lawyer Alan Dershowitz, for example, is 84 and still an intellectual powerhouse – Biden isn’t your average senior. He’s the president of the United States with two more years in office, and he’s hinting he wants four more years after that. If that is indeed mental decline we’re seeing, it will likely get worse.

So how would a 25th Amendment removal work? The amendment was proposed by Congress in 1965 and ratified by the states in 1967. While Article II, Section I, Clause 6 of the U.S. Constitution says the vice president will assume the “powers and duties” of the presidency in the event of the president’s “inability” to serve, it doesn’t define what inability means. President Eisenhower had a number of health issues, so he and then-Vice President Nixon worked out an arrangement for when Nixon might need to take charge.

Ukraine wants retired British warships – navy chief

Vice Admiral Aleksey Neizhpapa’s comment follows reports that the UK could retire two vessels amid staffing shortages

Kiev would be happy to receive two British Navy warships that London is reportedly about to decommission, Ukrainian Vice Admiral Aleksey Neizhpapa has told Sky News. Earlier this month, The Telegraph claimed that the HMS Westminster and HMS Argyll would be retired later this year,amid struggles to recruit enough sailors to operate the vessels.

In mid-December, the UK’s Ministry of Defence announced plans to provide Kiev with two mine-clearing ships as part of a new maritime coalition, which also involves Norway. However, the vessels have yet to reach Ukrainian shores, after Türkiye refused to let them pass through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits, which connect the Black Sea with the Mediterranean.

When asked whether Ukraine would be interested in London’s two Type 23 frigates during an Sky interview on Saturday, Neizhpapa said: “Of course, the [Ukrainian] Navy needs warships… if such a decision is taken concerning the possibility of handing over two frigates to the Navy, we will be very happy.”

Earlier this month, The Telegraph quoted an anonymous defense source as explaining the need to retire HMS Westminster and HMS Argyll as follows: “We will have to take manpower from one area of the Navy in order to put [it] into a new area of the force.”

The sailors are allegedly expected to crew newer vessels, with thetwo frigates to be either scrapped or sold to an ally.

Under the UK-Ukraine Agreement on Security Cooperation signed between London and Kiev on January 12, Britain pledged, among other things, “support to Ukraine’s development of a Navy and the Sea Guard.”

Commenting on the accord, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that it contains no “legally binding provisions” on the part of Britain. The diplomat stressed that the signing of the document would not change Russia’s goals in Ukraine.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who currently serves as the deputy head of the Russian Security Council, saidthat any deployment of British troops to Ukraine would be seen as a “declaration of war.”

Russia has repeatedly warned the West that military aid to Ukraine only serves to prolong bloodshed and also unnecessarily increases the risk of a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia.

After the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963, Congress added more specificity to the Constitution’s conditions and process for transferring power, hence the 25th Amendment.

The amendment has four sections. The first reaffirms that the vice president becomes president upon the death or resignation of the president. The second provides for replacing the vice president if that office becomes vacant. The third section lays out how the president can voluntarily transfer power to the vice president, such as if the president is very sick or undergoing a medical procedure.

The fourth section is the only one that has never been implemented. It provides for the involuntary replacement of the president when the “Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments [i.e., the Cabinet] or of such other body as Congress may by law provide” determine that the “President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

Would Vice President Harris ever take such a step? It strikes me as very unlikely.

More likely, I think, would be a full-court press by Democratic leaders to convince Biden not to run for reelection. How successful that effort would be is anyone’s guess. People in mental decline are often the last to concede the fact. But as I have written here previously, political parties don’t have the power to stop someone from running, especially an incumbent president. So, if Democratic leaders feel Biden isn’t up to running again, they could use the 25th Amendment provision as leverage to get him to agree.

No one, Republican or Democrat, hopes it comes to that. But we live in a very dangerous time, with rogue authoritarians seeking to expand their influence and power, especially if they perceive a weakened U.S. president.

Democrats spent four years waving the 25th Amendment flag at Donald Trump, mostly because they didn’t like him or his policies. It was an exercise in futility that further angered and divided the country. But the day may be coming when the country will have to turn to Section 4 of the 25th Amendment for the good of the nation.
