>for small businesses, how to solve the question of a bakery having left over stuff?
>sell stuff from day before for less money?
>throw away stuff from day before to have customers not only buy that stuff, making you only sell old stuff for half the price?
>making you only sell old stuff for half the price?
did you think about this? did your hinterstübchen?
thanks, you were a daddy to realities themselves who learned what the concept of "buffer" means in a bunch of ways, one of them being
>when you sell the old stuff from day before and only sell that, the new stuff is not sold and becomes old, you sell this than the next day and that´s day´s new stuff gets old for conveniently selling for half price the next day, so on and so forth.
>never ever buffers!?
:)
when do you prefere Adam Smith´s knitting needle manufature?
when do you prefere to paint the whole picture?
when making needles, cutting the wire as one step, making the tip tippy toppy, putting that ball thing convenient for not sticking a stick in something bc a stick is conveniently so pointy, this can be done timewise seperated.
one day of doing wire cutting, one day of doing the tips, one or maybe even two days for adjusting the balls.
is it better to have another person do the wire cutting and tips with you, double the amount per day so you can then do the third job alone, every day, as the supply of cutted and pointed wires allows for that?
(is it fair work bc you as owner do the bad part alone?)
if you were to cut many wires every day, maybe with another person, how often would you go buy new wire to be cutted?
would you do that every day?
would you spare that walking work and do it once a week? once a week would mean having 6 times as much wire, that you payed for, on the first day of your purchase, second day would still mean 5 times more wire than you would need.
(psychologists, does it add up or get lower?)
would that be even that bad, bc you prolly do not sell the needles as single unites from your shop?
if you did sell single units whenever someone needs a single needle (is that a thing?) or a bunch of needles? would it give you time (and maybe focus) to work?
what if it would give you time (and maybe focus to work)?
what if you were to hand out drinks to folks in a bar?
would there be a buffer?
did you take a look? s!?
