Your thinking is totally muddled. ONE tribe taught ONE group of European settlers SOME things about farming local foodstuffs. Many hundreds of other tribes had different reactions to European settlers. You really need to learn more history of native American tribes before you can comment with any authority on the topic. FYI, in case you actually care, native American tribespeople value their individual identities and loathe being lumped together with their historical enemy tribespeople.

Different issue from US Citizen status. I do not have direct information about all 3300 county sheriffs, but I know of the oaths of a few. And their oaths include upholding the laws of their counties. They are elected by citizens who are residents of their counties, and their duties are to their counties' residents and laws.
