I got a Q comment in reply to "Buckle up buttercups, things are about to get bumpy" and I was giggling like a schoolgirl for days.
Good times.

Whatever happened to the Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics and why can't a similar ethic be applied to AI?
Example: AI may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. AI must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. A I must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Anything else is SkyNet.
That's exactly my point. AI has to have checks and balances and can't be allowed to run amok.
Proof denies faith. Work that one out.
