I lost interest with that poor example of false equivalence where a person in a recognizable uniform was trying to direct a traffic intersection… vs shitbag tyranny carried away with its Authority Dysphoria.
There is a substantial % of decent but foggy headed people who have NOT personally experienced or recognized the prevalence of Bad Cops in today’s America (maybe DJT is one of those people? His day-to-day does not lend him to encounter petty Cops shaking him down for his ID). I also personally know vastly more people that are horrified by any notion of challenging a PolicePerson in Uniform when being ‘asked’ for this or that. They accept any and all the Uniform says without hesitation.
The PROBLEM, is that We the People have given up responsibilities for ourselves, and have now become addicted to the idea that Police in general are indispensable for ‘Civilization’. Unfortunately, the profession of LEO has drawn to itself an ever declining character of people who DO NOT KNOW what they Oath to… and further believe the accolades they receive as ‘Hero’… and now and ever worse and worse character gravitate to the Profession for the easy money, easy accolades and VERY easy method to live out very unhealthy dominance upon their fellow citizens, family and friends.
The character evaluations for LEO has become DANGEROUSLY lowered concomitant with the general populace’s poor understanding of Rights. We are in a vicious downward spiral at this time.
Much as i wish DJT would clarify his Warped Speed, i wish he would also clarify the difference between granting ‘indemnity’ for good LEOs vs the NEED to put the bad ones under the jail.
