Noem signs historic anti-semitism bill into law

As the fires of war sweep through the Gaza Strip, Governor Kristi Noem signed into law a historic bill requiring the consideration of the definition of antisemitism when investigating unfair or discriminatory practices.

This definition comes from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, adopted in 2016, and it includes language that “demonizes” Israel or holds it to an unfair double standard.

Former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he is putting together an investor group to try to buy TikTok.

“I think the legislation should pass and I think it should be sold,” Mnuchin told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Thursday.

Mnuchin’s statements come shortly after the House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill that would force ByteDance to divest TikTok or the social media site would face a ban in the U.S.
