Your assumption that an aircraft manufacturer is immune to systemic incompetence shows low IQ, and little familiarity with the actual Official Changes in the entire aviation industry and chronology over the past hundred years.

 

How about a touch of BOTH, factory AND maintenance. Ok? Is EITHER less of a massive problem? Go buy some tickets for you and your whole family.

Worked military, commercial, private and experimental. Both mechanic and pilot.

 

“Private Pilots” can not be “hired” to fly charter or otherwise. Check your Knowledge.

The “problem” is EVERYWHERE.

Once upon a time, EVERY pilot especially PIC (pilot in command) was responsible for their own ‘walk around’ before flight… even if the A+P Mechanic was their own Mother. The FAA fucked that all up.

 

Aviation was born in a time when people ‘policed’ each other and ‘checked’ and ‘double checked’ their own best friends out of genuine care and concern for actual safety. “Government” ruined that in all things.
