He was about 21 at time.
It was when he was on a gap year from college.
He spend spring and summer living in hotels in Barcelona, nice, and Monaco and hanging out in casinos.
Whilst in Monaco he’d collect bags of money from the Barcelona cartel and also from rich businessmen, he’d take the bags to yacht. After 2 weeks of this he’d Saul to Monaco and create accounts at casinos in the name of persons whose money he had, he’d deposit the money in these accounts minus his ten percent fee.
He’d be in Monaco for a week.
Her then go to nice for 2 weeks where it was believed he would also collect bags of money from mafias and businessmen, he’s then go back to Monaco for a week after which he’s then go back Barcelona for 2 weeks.
He did this continuously all spring and summer.
Head of police told it was this and showed the photos and video they had from surveillance on William. Also stupidly told the public whom the informant was and as to what the informant had claimed.
Police chief said diplomatic community doesn’t cover money laundering for a cartel.
When police went to will yacht with a warrant wills security got sub machine guns and wouldn’t let police exercise the warrant.
Wills whom was on shore at the time with his bodyguards, must have been informed what was going on as he and his body guards went to nearest airport and hired a chopper and fled the country and flew to nice. .
The yacht left Barcelona and went to nice.
William never returned to Spain again.
Don’t know whether he’s ever been since.
Don’t know if the warrant is still active.
