Jesus commanded the boy, then the boy's parents praised God and worshiped Jesus)
the extra-canonical texts are quite interesting
Jesus even mentions many of them, in the 66 books that were put together for us
He doesn't mention them in the sense of "avoid these like the plague"; he reflects on lessons from them
