Sherman: We have what appears, a highly politicized hearing, trying to blame Biden. This hearing began with the title, 'Biden's Strategic Failure'. It's my understanding that our witnesses [Milley and McKenzie] refused to testify with that title…we've now retitled the hearing, but we haven't repurposed it. It continued to be politicized.

Connolly read one of President Trump's Truths to Milley, and tried to get him to react. To his credit, Milley would not take the bait, and instead, said it's a free country, people can say what they want, and he is here for the families of those killed. As usual, Connolly looked like a total jackass.

Milley: I think the fundamental mistake, fundamental flaw, was the timing of the State Department call of the NEO. I think that was too slow, and too late. And that then caused a series of events that resulted in the very last couple of days.
