Looks like its not going to have much effect. It actually ended up as a short duration. It's already don in the mid to low M class. It could still flatten off but the spike is over and I'm not sure if it made a CME but; in any event, its away from earth in the receding limb so its effects would have to traverse right around the Sun to affect earth's geomagnetic field.
