You know how he supposedly turned to God and left the music industry and now, as far as I can tell, just hangs out with his wife and keeps thinks pretty low-key now? As much as it's fun to pick on Bieber, so much so it's become a meme in itself, it's becoming very clear he went through some pretty fucking serious abuse for his fame. I have sympathy for him for what they put him through, but he did agree to it, so there's that too. I see him now as a victim for the fame he attained. Used and abused.
Because those parents were lulled into a false sense of security that their baby boy would be safe with those people? That they could be trusted and they had his best interests at heart? Who knows but those within that circle that have first-hand knowledge? Fame and the people that chase it is something I've never understood.
